What is a good (powder foundation) that i could buy that won't clog pores and cause pimples and is oil free??? please help. thanks. =]Makeup help!!!!?
Bare Minerals works great. I've been using it for about 2 years, and after trying many brands of powder foundation, Bare Minerals is definitely the best.
It's advertised as being so natural that you can sleep with it on, and it's true. Other powder foundations would make me break out if I left it on overnight, but with Bare Minerals if I leave it on when I go to bed, my face is still smooth and clear in the morning.
Bare Minerals also helps with oily skin. My skin gets oily really easily, and this has helped with that a lot.
Hope this helps!Makeup help!!!!?
doir works great that is the kind i use with your same problem . woks wonder for me lol
M.A.C. has a good one. Dior as well
I use T' LeClerc powder compact foundation in Vanille ( Im pale) but all the sahde look amazing and it leaves your skin totally clear, and it feels super light like your wearing nothing. You can buy it at barneys.com
shades to skin color
Pale: Vanille
Light skined: Creme
Darker: Amande
Darkk: Praline
It works so well, and lasts really long too, you should DEFENITLY try it
good luck!
I use M.A.C. It leaves my skin nice and fresh looking. But Doesnt make me look fake or clog my pores. It barely feels like im wearing it.
Get a mineral foundation. They're more expensive but they don't clog your skin and are natural.
the makeup i use is not all oil free and sometimes it tends to clog my pores, but it works like a charm and i have the same skin problems, and so far so good.
i use
loreal poweder foundation
and
powderfx
they are truly amazing and combined with the right face wash, this makeup is awesome :)
hope this helps
mineral foundation-you can buy it at wallgreens
MARYKAY!!!
Bare Minerals,it will actually help your skin
Bare Minerals
Maybelline products are the best for this purpose. Try one of its loose powders, you'll befefit from it.

(this one is sold at sephora but they have their own store)
Their powder foundation works great (your face looks flawless! take it from me) and it wont cause acne. its actually good for your skin!
It may be pricey but its soo worth it! :]

i wear the traditional black eyeliner on top and bottom and i have red hair and blue eyes I want to do something to make my eyes pop any suggestionsMakeup Help?
Use green eyeshadow. Use light brown eyeliner. If you even care about the lips, Use bright red lipgloss.Makeup Help?
Use black eye liner first, on top and bottome, then brown over it, then add a very sparkly shaddow all over eyelid, then a lite white, then a darker and darker. i have the same prob as u and this fixed it
Almay has different eye shadows for differnet eye colors. They have Bring Out the Blue and Play Up the Blue. It works great. And, I saw this on America's Next Top Model, apply just a little bit of shine under your brow. I've done it and I've gotten alot of compliments. It's GREAT!
wear different shades that are lighter than just black
and wear bright colored eyeshadow
eyeliner
mascara
Check into the collection from Almay for blue eyes. They really have it down as a science to matching colors with natural ones.
You should wear
Eyeliner
Mascara
and Blush
It will make you look BEAUTIFUL
I'm a beauty advisor and yes I'm a guy. I suggest you use your eye liner in black on top as usual and use less on the bottom. Start at the middle of the eye and stream out. This will create the eye popping look. It'll make your eyes look bigger.,

Makeup help!!!?
i don't normally wear makeup at all but my friend had me put some on and i looked really nice. What should i use if i want to wear a bearly noticeable amount??? I have white skin and long brown hair, and my eyes are greeny-gray with like a brown-amber in the middle.Makeup help!!!?
You seem to have similar coloring to me!
If you want a more subtle effect, get brown mascara. It'll emphazise your lashes but not look like you're wearing a neon sign pointing to your face screaming ';MAKEUP! MAKEUP!'; hehe. I would suggest a waterproof so if you sweat, cry, or are in a humid environment, you won't get the dreaded raccoon eye effect! Cover Girl makes one in an orange tube with a blue neck (the blue indicates waterproof, a silver one is not waterproof) called Lash Blast that I swear by.
You can also get some brown eyeliner, NYC makes one called Soft Sable that looks great with eye colors like yours and it's available at WalMart and such for, like, $2. Another color to try would be a charcoal grey. If you can find a soft kohl pencil, all the better. Soft kohl refers to the texture of the pencil, and this particular kind goes on easier and not painfully (some hard eye pencils hurt pretty bad to apply), and have nice staying power. What's great about a soft liner, also, is that if you immediately afterward press some colored powder into it, you can create your own eyeliner color from eyeshadow! It'll have a darker color from the pencil beneath, so it'll be complimentary if you use the same color on your lids.
Now, for those lids... I would suggest going with a plum shade. It'll really make your eyes pop but you can apply it with a light enough touch to make it subtle. You could also try playing with some bronze colors or liner because there's this trick I learned: in good bright light, look into a mirror very closely. Note which shades you see and use those colors on your eyes. It'll really bring them out. The other way to use your eye color to choose your shade is to use a color wheel: colors opposite each other really make the eys pop.
You can also use the color elimnation technique: If you want to bring out the grey in your grey-green eyes, use green color. Vice versae: if you want to bring out the green color, use grey makeup. This make the eye go to your makeup and see, for instance, the green makeup, which is stronger than the green in your eyes and the visual effect is that your eyes look more grey. Kinda cool how it works :-) I have brown-green eyes and wear brown and my eyes look more emerald, for instance.
Since you're going for more of a subtle look, you could look into bronzer rather than blush. Find a light one, and get a big fluffy brush. Bend over at the waist and let your body hang down for about 30 seconds. When you stand back up, notice where your face has flushed and apply it there. This will give you a very natural, flushed and sun-kissed look instead of a babydoll or catwalk model cheek.
Also, when it comes to your eyes, I would look for an eyeshadow base. What this does is counteracts the oils on your lids. The oils are what cause the creasing of eye makeup that looks tacky and screams ';well I WAS wearing makeup!';. But if you have base (you can also use oil-free foundation if you use it, or a hard-potted eyeshadow like Jane brand in a nude) it won't crease and will stay on all day, thus looking more natural.
For your lips, I think your regular lip balm will work just fine! The great thing about lippies like that is that they give a slight tint of color and a great sheen with little stickiness, which high-end lippies strive for! So stick with it!Makeup help!!!?
mineral foundation works best for me, it looks alot better and more natural than non mineral, also some lip gloss, and a little mascara..
some simple powder foundation or blush.
you could also use a mouse foundation or brush too.
MASCARA(:
i forgot the brand, but there's this little thing that looks like a golden crayon at walmart with the eyeshadows. it is a highlighting stick... get that and lightly put it on your eyelids with brown eyeliner and brown mascara... get a bronzer one shade darker than your skin tone and apply it directly on your cheek bones and wear your lip gloss
of course, you should wear foundation under it all, but since it is getting closer to summer, i would wear a powder foundation so it won't turn out cakey in the hot weather.
and duh wash and use moisturizer before you do anything to your face.
put some foundation on (clinique)
mascara (maybelline)
and perhaps eyeliner (oreal HIP)
this sounds like me! i have pale skin and dont like wearing loads of make up but my friends do. Just wear mascara, lipgloss and a little bit of bronzer on your cheekbones. natural but flawless!
If I were u I would buy some Ultimate Finish by Cover girl. I would also get some kind of mascara probably black or brown colored. If you don't want to make it very noticeable, you can get some eyeshadow that is a little darker color than your skin color it will bring out your eyes a little bit more. Also get some powder blush from revlon. Lipgloss is great. You can get clear or skin colored or if u wanna try something new, bright colors like red and pink and orange. Oh and before you put on makeup I usually put on moisturizer, otherwise sometimes the makeup may make your skin lookj really dry.
just wear liploss.

and a light color lip gloss :]
you could wear yellow eyeshadow
i wear it all the time and it really brightens up my eyes
it sounds weird but it looks nice
i swear
Go as natural as possible. There are places in the mall (department stores) that sometimes can help teach you what is best. If you can't afford it, keep notes and find it for cheaper at a discount store or maybe on-line.
I usually only wear liquid eyeliner and I love it! It's ';Too Faced'; and you can put it in any eyeshadow to make any color eyeliner! You just close one eye and apply it to the eyelid right above the lashes. I hope I helped! I wish you luck!
It depends on how old you are. If you are in the 5th grade and under, just use lip gloss. No need for make-up at that age. If you are entering middle school or already in highschool, I suggest you wear some eyeliner and mascara. Just a little tiny bit of mascara because this girl at my school doesn't know how to put mascara on herself so she keeps doing layers and it looks really chunky and bad. She askes me EVERY, SINGLE, DAY, if her make-up looks good-before her boyfriend comes to greet her-and I say, ';Yea....you look fine.'; because I don't want to be mean. So don't wear alot of mascara because no one is going to tell you. Wear a clean layer of eyeliner from target, no need to get fancy. I use Covergirl and I love it. It is waterproof too. Make sure you know what your buying. After about a month and a half I throw all my make-up away and go buy new stuff because it could cause rashes and it's not good for your skin when it is old. Be sure to wash off all your make-up with make-up remover, before you go to bed or it could cause your eyelashes to fall out. (eww!) All I can say is: Beauty is pain, beauty is taking risks. But not if it is natural, like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.
i would say a sheer powder or mineral makeup it doesnt make you look like you have alot on...and a nude eyeshadow
and a little blush or brozer to top it off and mascara will bring out the eyes if you dont want to go dramatic use a dark brown and a little eyeliner.=]
just wear natural colored eyeshadow 2 match ur skin tone.....then wear just a little brown or black mascara......if u really want it 2 not be noticeable u could even get non colored mascara that just makes ur eyes stand out......
you could wear max factor faoundation just as a base which automatically adaps to your skin tone so looks completely natural, remember to rub it all in about the side of your face aswel.
or you could buy tinted face moisturiser, although i can not wear it beacsue it goes patchy you could try it on your hand first just to see.
and maybe a think layer of blusher to top of your look. make it bronser, give you move of a natural look combining with the faoundation, where-as pinky blusher gives a girly, harsher makeup effect.
i suggest you go into shops and ask for a makeup over, say you want it natural and see what they do pay attention you cant go wrong
hope this helped

how do you know if the liquid foundation your buying is a thick or thin formula i need a thick foundation but i dont know if im getting one.
how can i tell?Makeup help....?!!!?
MAC- studio finish fix.
Good thick foundation. :]
If you ever wanted to thin out your foundation, you mix it with moisturizer.Makeup help....?!!!?
I need thick foundation also. The way I check is by shaking it up. If it is light or thin, it will shake up easy. If it is thick, it will not shake up as easy. I personally use Revlon Color stay. It is thick and stays on. If you use department store makeup, then try Estee Lauder's Maximum coverage in the tube%26gt;
Ask the people at the makeup counter for that brand. Or, if you are getting it at Sephora, just ask one of the people who work there.
Go to the make up counter, i.e. Lancome, clinique etc. And ask them. They're professionally trained and can help you the best.
it showuld say it on the bottle
buy thin and put in on thick
loooooooll.. ask the personn who sells it... or anyone... the sales person there could help uinc.

Makeup help?
I'm 13 and i have blue eyes and brown hair. I would like to wear makeup, but not loads of it. Any ideas of colors? products?Makeup help?
It depends. I've always heard to always play with mostly one feature. I suggest that if you're skin is clear and you don't really need foundation, go with a tinted moisturizer.
EYES: If you want to play with the eyes, brown is supposed to make them pop. Try working with brown eye shadow and a coat or two of black mascara (also supposed to go with blue eyes). If you just want to use eyeshadow with a more dramatic look (i suggest more for glamour; not every day at your age; less is always more), apply a white shadow under the eyebrow (brow bone) and in the inner corner of the eye (tear duct). Take a light brown or gold (gold goes with your hair) and aply it all over the lid. Take a darker colour and put it just in the crease. (I heard Maybelline has a palette with all of one colour with four different shades of one colour, and it tells you where to apply it if you need more guidance) For everyday, just simply use one eyeshadow. But if you do choose to play up the eye, go for a sheer gloss. I personally love NYC's roll on lipgloss (that's the third link)
LIPS: I love lipgloss and i think that if you don't want to play up the eyes (or u think its too much) just use a coat of mascara and go for more colour on the lips. A light pink gloss will suit almost anyone.
*** If you want more choices or anything try the first website and take the test to see what your colours are
**** The second one is a general overview of eye products (search around and see what you prefer)
***** The third one is an overview of lipglosses.
GOOD LUCK!!!!Makeup help?
light colours would work nicely. light blue, light brown, light pink, mascara is cool and some eye shadow, lip gloss. It is probably a good idea not to wear loads, just a bit is enough.
misty smoke color or a golden color
if you were mascara it can really make you stand out, while still making you look natraul.
also try BROWN mascara and maybe a little brown eyeliner.
sooo cute.
coming from another 13 year old.!
I would try Clinique. Go to a Clinique counter and ask someone who works there to help you out!
I suggest Philosophy's The Present. It's a clear foundation. Not a make up primer but a clear foundation. I love it because I don't have to worry about matching something with my own skin tone. This allows your natural color to come through while making your skin look flawless. Like it's been airbrushed. The trick is to use only a little bit! And because of that, the bottle lasts a good long time.
I hope you try it. I think it's amazing!
For a nice blush, try Benefit's Dandelion Blush. It's such a sunny and happy color. It gives my face a healthy sunny glow.
And my fave mascara is Dior Show Black. This is the perfect mascara. No clumps. Dries fast. Long sexy lashes.
And for lips, Smith's Rosebud Salve. It's a lip balm in a little tin that leaves the slightest rose tint and makes lips nice and glossy while being really good for them. It smells great too!
Thanks! This was fun!
dark colors.
black, brown or dark blue.
I'd just go with some clear lip gloss, maybe eyeliner or mascara to enhance your features. If you don't really need makeup, then why wear it? If you're going to something special I think that black or brown eyeline and some brown shadowr reaaaaaally makes your blue eyes pop.
EX. Alexis Bledel:http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h鈥?/a>
Just start playing w/ some cheap drugstore brands like Revlon,Covergirl,Loreal,Maybelline, etc.
try black eyeliner and mascara..and a brownish/tanish eye shadow
just use some maybelline pink lip gloss, some blush from the drugstore, %26amp; some soft brown eyeliner.
cant go wrong wtiht htat good luck bb

Makeup help!?
i have green eyes and redhair . i want my eyes to pop . but i want a natural look . also, should eyeliner be worn on the rim of the eye or under?
and a reccomendation in brands of effective concealer. please and thank you!Makeup help!?
If you want your eyes to pop out wear eyeliner and mascara. You could wear black or brown. It wont look fake if you just use a thin line under the rim of your eye and then a thin line starting from the outside crease of your eye. Dont draw a line around your whole entire and get it as close to the rim and eyelashes as possible. Clinique is a good natural looking makeup brand. I believe they have some good concealers.Makeup help!?
since you have green eyes you should wear darker colors, like a light brown blended with a darker brown i have blue eyes and it works great. and for the eyeliner part, i think you should wear it in the rim, because wearing it under tendsto smudge on me. =]

Makeup help...?
ok so i was wonderign if someone could tell me how to put on good makeup. like everything like foundationa nd all that. if you could that would be fantastic!! thank you so much!Makeup help...?
Before you Start
Always apply makeup to clean skin (follow the routine appropriate for your skin type).
Make sure you have all the appropriate makeup tools and products you need.
Apply makeup in a well-lighted area.
Use a magnifying mirror to check your blending and overall smoothness.
Step 1: Foundation
Select a foundation for your skin type that matches your underlying skin tone exactly. Using the flat, smooth surface of a round, nonporous synthetic sponge, pour some foundation onto the sponge, then transfer the foundation in dots and dabs all over the face and the eyelids. You can also use your fingers to transfer the foundation in dots from the bottle to the face. Use your sponge to blend the foundation down and out over the face. Use the edge of the sponge without foundation (or turn the sponge over to the clean side) to dab or buff away any excess product. Do not apply foundation on the neck or under the chin. Your sponge is an exceptional blending tool that can be utilized throughout the makeup application process.
Note: If you are relying on a foundation with sunscreen for sun protection, you must apply a complete, even layer over the entire face. A thin or too sheer application will not provide adequate protection from the sun.
Step 2: Concealer
Use a concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your foundation. Apply it in a small arc around the inside corner of the eye. Using your fingers or a concealer brush, blend the concealer out evenly by dabbing and buffing. Avoid pulling or tugging the skin under the eye. Be careful not to spread the concealer onto areas where you don’t want it. You can also apply concealer to the eyelid if that area is dark or, if your concealer has a matte finish, as a way to help eyeshadow cling better. For concealing facial discolorations such as freckles, blemishes, or red spots, use a concealer that matches or is just slightly lighter than your natural skin tone.
Note: Overly emollient or greasy moisturizers can make concealer slip into the lines around the eyes.
Step 3: Powder
After you apply the foundation and concealer, dust a light layer of powder over the entire face and eyelids. Apply the powder with a large, full, round brush. Avoid using a sponge or powder puff, which can put too much powder onto the face. Pick up some of the powder on the full end of the brush, knock off the excess, and brush it on using the same motion and direction as you did for the foundation (down and out).
Powder is great for touch-ups as the day goes by to dust down excessive shine.
Powder with sunscreen must be applied liberally so a thorough application is necessary for adequate protection. It is best to use a powder with sunscreen in combination with a foundation and/or moisturizer that also offers sun protection.
Step 4: Eyeshadow
All of the options for building an eye design are too numerous to list here. The following is a basic application that can be adapted to create a variety of looks:
Typically, the lightest color is applied to the entire eyelid and to the edge of the eyebrow. (The general rule is that the larger or more prominent the eyelid area is compared with the under-brow area, the darker or deeper the eyelid color can be; the smaller the eyelid area is compared with the under-brow area, the brighter or lighter the eyelid color can be.) Select a deeper color from the same or a complementary color family to shade the crease. Practice your application and blend well; the goal is not to have obvious edges of color. Remember, lighter colors bring things forward and highlight, dark colors recede and add depth and shading.
Step 5: Eyeliner
Position the brush, pencil, or applicator as close to the lashline along the eyelid as possible. Then draw a line from the inner to outer corner using one fluid stroke, following the curvature of the eyelid. As a general rule, do not extend the line past the outer corner of the eye or hug the tear duct area of the eye. At first, keep the line as thin as possible, and if a thicker line is desired, repeat the process either across the entire lash line or simply on the outer third of the lid along the lashes.
Generally, the line along the lower lashes should be thinner and a less-intense color than the upper liner. Make sure that the two lines meet at the back corner of the eye. As a general rule, the larger the eyelid area, the thicker and softer the eyeliner should be. The smaller the eyelid area, the thinner and more intense the liner should be.
For health reasons, avoid lining the rim of the eye.
Step 6: Eyebrow Shaping
Use a color that closely matches the color of your brows rather than your hair color or a color you think would look better than what already exists. Apply powder brow color using a wedge brush, working in the direction the hair grows. Use a light touch, with short, quick motions, and avoid the temptation to exaggerate the shape of the brow by arching it severely or extending the brow into the temple area.
Step 7: Mascara
If you use a lash curler, it is best to use it before you apply mascara. Squeeze gently with even pressure. Hold for a few seconds as you “walk” the curler along the length of the eyelashes, and release slowly. Apply mascara to the upper lashes using long, sweeping strokes. Be sure to begin as close to the lash root as possible and brush up and out. Use an old, cleaned-up mascara wand to remove any clumping that occurs.
Apply mascara to the lower lashes by holding the wand perpendicular to the eye and parallel to the lashes (using the tip of the wand). If necessary, use a tissue to wipe excess mascara off the brush before applying to the lower lashes.
Step 8: Blush
Using a blush brush, apply blush along the full line of the cheekbone brushing down and back toward the ear. Always knock the excess powder out of the brush to avoid applying too much blush. Use your sponge to soften any hard edges. Do not apply blush to the temple area, chin, nose, or forehead--this tends to make skin look uneven and ruddy.
Step 9: Lipstick and Lip Liner
A lip brush or lip pencil is an optional accessory. You can use a lip pencil to draw a definitive edge around the mouth to follow when applying lipstick, and a lip brush to control your application. A standard tube of lipstick makes too wide a mark for some lips and too narrow a mark for others. If your lips are small, it is best to use a lip brush; if your lips are large, the only reason to use a lip brush is to improve your accuracy, especially with deeper shades such as red.
Line the actual shape of your mouth. Do not use corrective techniques that make the mouth look larger or longer, especially for daytime makeup--it almost always looks like a mistake.
If you want your lipstick to last, apply more of it and don’t blot; blotting takes off several layers before you’ve even left the house.
Important Reminder:
Good brushes are essential for applying makeup:
Use soft, pliable brushes. Avoid hard or stiff brushes.
Use a brush that is the correct size for the area of the face you are working on. Avoid brushes that are too large or too small.
Remember to knock the excess powder off the brush before you apply the color to your face.
Brush on the color gently with short even strokes; avoid wiping or rubbing the brush across the face.
Gently wash your brushes every month or so.Makeup help...?

I answered this question a while ago, so I hope you don't mind when I copy/paste the same answer, because it pertains to your question!
Apply a little bit of everything in moderation and you'll look fabulous! Here's how I do it:
1. Wash face with a gentle cleanser. Tone. Moisturize with a lightweight moisturizer. It is important to maintain that healthy skin care routine so you won't suffer from breakouts!
2. Apply foundation with fingers using light feathery strokes from the inside of your face (near nose) towards your hairline. I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse- it helps provide that matte look without looking overdone in the slightest (I have oily skin, so it works out great for me). You can try other foundations or tinted moisturizers...whatever you fancy. If you find using fingers too messy, use a damp sponge or foundation brush (I am just now finding out the wonders a brush can do!)- both will evenly spread out the foundation without causing any streaking or ';cakey'; look. Just keep it light and natural. It's better to get something light, because you can layer it for more coverage later on, and still keep it looking fresh and real!
3. Dab on concealer slightly over problem areas and apply a very thin layer of foundation over it if it looks uneven or ';caked';.
3b. I also use undereye concealer for those times when I've had sleepless nights (exams!) and I look worse than a racoon come morning. It considerably brightens up/ ';wakes up'; the eye area.
4. Set foundation and concealer with translucent loose powder.
5. Apply eyeliner using light strokes to fill in sparse areas in between eyelashes, or use a firm hand to create a darker line (go soft during the day and bold for evening). If you wish, you can wear eyeshadow colors best suited to you, or just apply a very sheer layer of foundation over your eyelids to even out skin tone there as well. I wear some eyeliner and mascara (one coat on upper lashes for day look, and one-two coats on upper/lower lashes for evening, and only on special occasions that too) and that's it.
6. Wear a lipstick, lipgloss, whatever your preference. I finish off my look by wearing Burt's Bees lipbalm- un/tinted, with a slight gloss on top.
Hope that helps :)
And makeup application is really all about practice. It took me two years to finally get it right. Just try it out on weekends at first or just when you're home. See the results- if you like, go for it! Don't like? Practice some more and you'll be a beauty diva in no time!

I have like everything:
concelor
every brush
a lot of eyeshadow
blush
foundation
mascara
i just need some new ideas!Makeup help?!?
Fake eyelashes. They do wonders. Throw on some eyeliner and than them and it gives you the perfect natural look.Makeup help?!?
first off unless you got pits and pimples and really bad skin over all you wont need the concealer or foundation .. besides it will only make you break out.. mattering on age under 30.. less is way better.. over 30 a little concealer under the eyes if you have some shadows might be something you need..
now that out of the way.. matters what your going for.. a good brightener or bronzing powder would be my first aim.. mattering on season.
you dont mention haircolor or eyecolor.. skintone.. so go with a charcoal liner not too dark and not to light. will blend well too.. go with a brown mascara. black is usually to much unless your a brunette or out at night.. do line your top and bottom lids. dont smudge the bottom unless you like the emo punk look.
mattering on your outfit and eyecolor any eyeshadow is appropriate with green eyes.. browns and yellow and golds make them stand out more.
with blue eyes.. purples and pinks with white to highlight are brilliant
brown eyes go good with blues and greens and taupes.. reds too..
colors matter on how adventurous you are.
blush in a nice shade maybe 2 or 3 tones brighter than your skin tone .. look to your lips when finding a color. go light in a circle from the apple of your cheek and towards your temple. the amount on one brush should be enough for one side.. maybe lightly across your nose and forehead after youve did your cheeks without adding more powder...
this is basic stuff hope it helps..
eyelash curlers. after you curl them apply mascara because it makes your lashes look longer naturally.

I have a question about covering up red acne....will first using a green-tinted concealer (like the physicians' formula kind at the drugstore) help cover the redness better ? or does it make no difference? thanks!Makeup help?
Yellow or green both help reduce redness. Green is for more serious redness, you'll probably do fine with a yellow-base. Either way, be sure to put a foundation or something over the green or yellow that matches your skin color.
You may want to check out Benefit's You're Bluffing line. A friend of mine has very very red skin and it helped tone it down a lot.Makeup help?
listen to get rid of it
use glycerin soap
from dollar general
it sounds cheap but it worksss
green does help with redness and acne. I would buy a concealer that actually has stuff in it to heal the acne while covering.
I personally don't recommend the green.
I used it before and it tints your skin green.
I'm not sure if you're interested in turning into the Incredible Hulk, but I'm not.

NYC is awesome, and very cheap
I know their eyeliners and nail polish are only 99 cents each, and they're sold at drug stores. Go for a good mascara, black eyeliner, and dark, silvery eyeshadow.
DON'T draw eyeliner past the corner of your eyes, it looks weird
go to ulta. If you don't have that store, you can go to www.ulta.com, and order it. Or, use max factor for eye shadows, blush, etc.
For eyeliner, use almay. It works well. Make sure you get liquid as well as solid if you want the ';emo eye';.
NYC Cosmetics Are Good. They Are Cheap, The Colors And Selections Are Awesome. I Did However, Try Wet n' Wild Once, But It Reminded Me Too Much Of Halloween Makeup. So Now, I Just Stick With NYC.
wet n wild is pretty cheap i guess...
and it still is really good..
it goes on really easily and comes off easy too, but doesn't smear easily tho...
The emo-eye consists of a bright base , like fushia, or bright copper , purples , emerald/lime green for the eye crease.
Brands to try: La Splash eye sparkle , its like colourful dust , but the shades are fab for the price.
Eyeliner : Bourjois eyeliners are the best(metalic)
MAC is also good , colours to try : Copperring, Plum Dressing.
Mascara : Zoom Lash from MAC
I usually DO NOT buy the cheap brands because they are horrible for your skin.... but... I do use N.Y.C. eyeliner which is only .99 at Wal-Mart or Target. If you like the emo look..go for the Dark Shadows from MAX factor which is also from Wal-Mart and Target. Both are very affordable and fun to apply.
Good Luck!
you should either go to
'ulta'
or
'sephora'
or for just plain cheap makeup
any closeby drugstore
such as
'Walgreens'inc.

So far, I'm getting Bare Minerals for foundation, and the mineral veil, Nars blush in orgasm, and maybe and I wanted to also buy a face luminizer, I heard Clinique makes it a good one. I don't want to spend too much $$ on the luminizer though. So, anyone know of a good one I can buy at Sephora, or your favorite blushes and foundations?Makeup help?
stick with bare minerals all the way, you really can't put a liquid luminizer with mineral make-up, it will make it runny. i recommend clear radiance for a subtle glow, and any of the bare minerals blushes, they have many pretty shades. good luck !Makeup help?
My favorite foundation is Prescriptives. I never break out when I where it, it makes my skin look so satiny smooth.

Add in a nice shade of lipgloss or lipstick and you have a natural look but still look complete. But if you have a little more time add some powder to the face to even out the skin and absorb any shine.Makeup help!?
if you have foundation and podwer then use that also. if not try some cover up if its jsut small acne!
maybe a little bit of brown eyeliner with natural colors like light brown and cream [dont apply all the way up to your eyebrow, jsut do your eyelids] with some massacre
try the id bare minerals, it will cover your acne and not look over-done

i want a funky %26amp; cool makeup look.
i have eyeliner %26amp; mascara %26amp; all that stuff.
can you give me ideas??
thnx =]Makeup help?
try doing a thick line on the upper lash line and smudging eyeliner on the bottom lash line for a sorta ';i partied all night'; look.Makeup help?
experiment with black eyeliner and colored glitter or iridescent powders for something different.
or try layering bright eyeshadow until you find a color you like [i LOVE the max factor trios] and then putting on liquid eyeliner and black mascara
The best thing would probably be to look at pictures of Rock Stars. Shirley Manson, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, etc could be great sources for inspiration.
i'd hafta know your skin tone, your eye color, and your hair color. but pink eyeshadows look good on everyone and super juicey and sheer lipcolors look great. just use your creativity.
Try something like Vanessa Hudgen's:
http://www.vanessa-anne.org/pictures/dis鈥?/a>
You know how winter time brought in the smokey look? Dark eyeliner, shadow and mascara? Try something like that, but with different colors. like...try a pink or purple look. dark purple eyeliner, with a dark shadow.. try to stay away from the babrie pinks and purples though.
Well, you can always layer your eyeshadow like up to your brow line but, with like a lighter color or like you could wear eye liner on you top and bottom lids. But, I don't really know any funky make-up looks.
make your eyeiner kinda dark and make like a cats eye thing like a hook at the end of your eye and put like a smoker pencial to go under ur eyeliner for a hot look hope i helped mabie like a pink
Try a thin layer on the top eyelid of metallic liner, this looks really nice on dark eyes. Trust me, but it has to be thin, with soft color on lips %26amp; cheeks and no eyeshadow or liner on bottom lids, curl lashes gently add one coat of mascara. Try it!
Well if there is an Ulta near you..you can go there and they will give you a free make-over and see how you like it
How about putting light pink eyeshadow on the botton lid then on the brow bone put off white shadow to highlight the brow bone. Then put eyeliner on the cnr of your eyes and do a little flick to make your eyes look longer (don't line the whole lid), then put marcara, and on your cheeks apply blush in a brown-pink colour (smile when you apply the blush as this gives you a guid to where to apply, it will look like 2 round apples when you smile , so in a upward motion apply the blush- don't put too much otherwise you will look like a clown) , add some gloss to your lips (Natural coulour) to give it a shiny look, this look is for everyday wear.
cute coloured liquid eyeliner. try one in ur fave color or maybe a royal cobalt blue or royal purple and do a winged line. or if ur really bold try that TWIGGY look with fake lashes, and draw some bottom lahes with liquid liner PLUS winged liner. mix it up and try diff colors to go with that MOD look. remember to keep the lips neutral to balance that bold eye

I've had the same makeup routine forever!
Foundation
and brown eyeliner
i want to do something that looks natural. any ideas?Makeup help!?
Here is an idea for a great look that is simple and fast;
Try using a tinted moisturizer. It's a great way to get coverage that is natural looking and won't clump up in odd places.
Go on to Marykay.com and check out the eye application tips. It's easier to see the demo then it is too explain, pick the look you like the best and they will tell you what colors to use and how to do it. You don't need to buy MK, but at least you will know what colors you are looking for.
For your lips, try a gloss/lipstick mix that has long last wear...that way you don't have to worry about it smudging or rubbing off. Keep in mind that dark colors make lips look smaller and light colors make lips look bigger.
If you wear foundation, it is a good idea to wear blush. The foundation will even out your skin tone, but you need something to highlight your face.
My favorite product that I just started using is a highlighting pen. Someone suggested it to me for my wedding and I have been using it ever since! A highlighting pen is great to use on the sides of your nose, under your eyes, and where your cheeks crease on the side of your mouth.
Your can use powder at the end to set everything, but that isn't always necessary.
Practice your new look a few times and play around with different techniques! You're going to look great!
(What you would need for this look: Tinted moisturizer, eye liner, 2 shades eye color, mascara, lip gloss, blush %26amp; a high lighting pen)Makeup help!?
It all depends on your color type you have to find that out first, and go from there .Try to stay away from too much foundation,it only makes you look masklike and fake ,don't change too drastically too quickly ,do it gradually.
START USiNG BLUSH%26amp; DARK BROWN MASCARA %26amp; A LiPCOLORTHAT MATCHES YOUR SKiN TONE WiTH WHAT YOUR USiNG NOW.
I usually do foundation, a light colored eyeshadow, and put on a darker one with a slanted brush at the lash line in place of eyeliner. If I'm going out or something, I'll also put a complementary color in the crease of my eyelid (i have green eyes, so a light green color in the crease really makes them pop). Also, put a little blush on your face-you'd be amazed at how much it wakes up your look! If you usally keep your makeup at a minimum, if you do up your eyes, leave your lips neutral, and vice versa. Have fun!
the face: use lotion that works good for you, don't follow, the stuff on T.V because everybody is didffernent ,and has different skin,so use a lotion that you used before.apply it everywhere even on your neck.then wait for it to dry all together.,put the foundation on,where ever you put lotion,or if you want on the neck.then if you spot the shiny skin part, and you want your face to look natural, take powder that matches your skin tone, and rub it will with the buffer thing,or your hand,or brush.make sure you have even skin tone.
eyeshadow:choose a general color(red, blue green etc..) and have three different colors of same family(light meduim, dark)then choose the light color one,and glide it gently by your lashes(it is okay to get the powder on your lashes) if you are having truoble ask a parent (a mom) or friend,to do what you say! then when you are done gliding,(when you glide use the edge line,of the foam eyeshadow tool) so when you are done, take the meduim, and make it a little think of a color,on your second layer.when you are done, take abrush and gently glide it on your color(i said gently) it will look mush better, and then take the dark one,and gently put on top ,of the both colors(if you think it looks to much, take the brush and glide on the colors,it will look cute(if you don't like the way i'm saying it,just take on color, you like, and make it small,so only a little part can see,so you look natural) NOW YOU CAN take the mascara and and slowly swip the BLACK mascara,if want to look natural ,don't put on the bottem!
eyeliner: if eyeshadow is not your thing,or if you like eyeshadow, and want to put eyeliner, you still will look good! (i prefer,to put little eyeliner,if putting eyeshadow, but if you are not putting eyeshadow make it a little thiker.now take the black eyeliner pencil, and line it close to your lash line as possible.draw it by your inner eye, thin and as you go further, make it thiker.make sure it is a qauter of an inch, then, use the eyeliner, and trace over it,and extend it after the quater inch line, and don't curve it up,it will curve by it self when eye's are lift.
LIPS: now it lips time,(TIP: to make your lip big,use tooth brush and rub on your lips,)if you like natural lips, take clear lipgloss it is never out of style.if you like the look so far, take the lipstck you like and and rub on your lips once, and gloss it ! make sure,if you want to look natural, use brown eyeshadow, but i would prefer not to put eyeshadow for starters or experts(the hollywood stars do alot of makeup)now clear lipgloss ROCKS!
YOU ARE NOW BEAUTIFUL!
HOPE I HELPED ALOT!

It all can depend on your hair and eye color. You can change up eye liner colors, black always looks cute with darker hair. I tried a silvery eyeshadow and i love it, it looks cool with dark eyeliner. I heard concealer can work like foundation, but won't give you acne (it dosent clog pores as much). But Maybelline ';PureStay Powder Foundation'; works amazing (You can find it at any drugstore)! It dosen't even look like its there-- looks great with blush too. Cool colors like green or even reddish eyeshadow can be fun too. I go for more of a neutral look with eyeliner, mascara and foundation. have fun!!
ps-maybelline makes good products and go for waterproof eye products so they down get drippy.

I love to go in a department store, and go to the makeup section. Tell them you want a makeover so you can get some new ideas for yourself. The good thing is most of them will do it for free. I do it all the time, to change my looks a little. They are pros there so they will help out.

Tips For Makeup
Women have always been crazy about make up and skin care. But it is a foolish idea to treat make up and skin care as different issues. Because, unless your skin is supple and firm, your make up does not add any spark.
Given below are a few tips for great skin and good makeup:
1. Whenever you are purchasing any cosmetic product, first look at the product quality and durability because they should not affect the texture of your skin.
2. To test the reliability of the product, first apply it on the earlobes to check if it suits your skin texture.
3. Moreover do not use items that have crossed the expiry date. Some of the products if not stored as suggested get spoilt easily.
4. Maintain the entire make up equipments because you use them often. Cleanliness is an essential activity of skin care. As part of cleanliness, keep your hair and yourself clean always.
5. Even the maintenance of nails is important. Polish them with a coat of polish and after polishing them always rub with oil at the edges.
6. If you have sunken eyes then use liquid eyeliner instead of using a pencil.
7. Do not apply any harsh chemical without the consultation of your physician, especially if you are having a skin disease. Do not try to slit off your pimples or acne. It may start to bleed.
8. When you want to remove all your makeup, do not just wash your face but apply a make up remover
9. When you are using a deodorant see that there is a distance between the pack nozzle and your skin.

Makeup Help?
I am an African American with moderate to severe acne. I am going to a special even tomorrow night, and want to cover all of the dark pigment I have not only on my face, but on my BACK. The dress that I am wearing is a halter dress, but I will feel self conscious the whole time If I don't find something to wear. I have used makeup before to try and cover it, but it always ends up smudging or smearing and rubbing. Is it because I'm just using foundation and no powder? Does anyone have any suggestions??Makeup Help?
Well, I have acne too. And I wear fondation everyday. But sometimes, I will wear powder. I actually do think not wearing powder makes fondation smudge. I have always seen makeup artists put fondation and powder on people. So, that may be a reason. And, before your special event, have someone put fondation and powder on your back, maybe that will make you feel better. You could always buy some sort of jacket or sweater that will cover up your back. Oh, and always put face lotion on before you put makeup on..it helps keep the makeup on your face. :DMakeup Help?
I think you should put like more layers of powder and go to cvs and buy those liquid pimple coverers. They work good. After that cover come of the power with blush. I perfer tan or light brown. Depends on what kind of place. Gold goes good every where. And if you want to add something extra, volumize your lashes and put on a light, not too revealing eyeshadow. For lipstick, put wine colored lipstick.
id say first to have someone rub alcohol on your back.. it will dry it up some. makeup wise ony way to go is MAC ..best coverage ever,, BUT u said ur going tomorrow thats unfortuante because also DERMABLEND is great for cover ups. what strippers use to cover tattoos. works wonders
why dont youy simply try to get a shaw or scarf to cover your back but yet be elligant at the same time

Tips on mineral makeup and how to apply...

Why don't you try wearing a pashmina or beautiful wrap as an accent piece. I think you have to buy special make up to use on your body. Normal makeup will only smear.
Makeup help?
i am new on putting makeup on. how do i put on mascara, eye shadow, and eye liner. girls how do u put on makeup. should i ask a freind to help me, if so how should i ask, iam a guy. i am metroMakeup help?
Ask a female friend to show u. It is very hard to tell someone how to put on make-up, a lot easier to pick up when u see it being done.Makeup help?
okay for mascara take the wand and just brush it against your lashes, eyeshadow: close ur eyes one at a time and go for it! it's easier when u watch somebody do their own makeup, tho
go to salon they will teach u
Well, you should ask a friend but to put on eyeliner start always from the outside corner of your eye to the center (u get wrinkles doing it the other way, take off makeup that way too) Just do it right on your bottom eyelashes and if you get it underneath them just take it off with a Q-tip. For eye shadow, first put on a base so it won't come off, then NEVER use the foam things eyeshadow comes with, buy a brush and use that, it comesout better that way. Put white shadow right under your brow, then a light color on the bottom lid. Then get a darker shade of the color and put it in the crease of your eye lid and blend it together. For mascara, Curl your lashes first so they seperate, then just stroke up. Perfection.

Makeup help?!!!!!!!!!!!?
Why when applying powder do you have to apply in circular motions??
whywhywhy?
lol
:)Makeup help?!!!!!!!!!!!?
so it's more even and so you can get in every crevice. imagine if you went in stripy motions you'd more than likely end up with streaks of powder. although, it is important to try and go along in the direction of your hairline as much as you can, this way it looks more natural (:Makeup help?!!!!!!!!!!!?

Hair/Makeup Help Needed...?
Hi there everyone! Although I would consider myself as someone who is good with hair and makeup and other cosmetic related things, I am stumped right now as of what to do with myself!
http://i14.tinypic.com/4c2z5as.jpg
THIS is almost exactly my skintone, although it is getting closer and closer to summer and I tan easily. I have brown eyes and medium blonde hair currently, although my natural haircolor is a dark blonde/light brown. I would like ideas on what haircolor I should go with, and what I should do for makeup. I am willing to try anything and everything so don't be afraid to give me some wild ideas. Also, regarding makeup, if you can list any specific products that would be nice, but it's not necessary. Thank you all!Hair/Makeup Help Needed...?
okay i really like hilary duff too and i kinda look like her too...you probably saw she dies her hair brown and even black..and she also cut it shorter...but she seems to like it because she is still rocking it now..but are you sure you will like it on yourself too?? what if you go brunette and hate it after a month and wanna go back?you will ruin your hair..if you want a change, get a fringe,or a hair cut,or die it in a shade not very far from yours...in make-up terms, you probably saw hilary wears a lot of gold, brown, black, grey, green like eye shadow...she always wears peach blush and a natural gloss...remember: you can experience with make-up because it will go away in seconds, but don't experience with hair!!!Hair/Makeup Help Needed...?
where natrual colored make-up and some shimmer lip gloss and curl your hair
Hair: lighten or highlite hair (i have heard that lemon juice works well to lighten hair鈥損ut it on and go stand in the sun, it should lighten your hair and maybe bring out natural highlites)
Makeup: since its summer, i would say waterproof makeup would be the best thing (because when you go swimming, you don't want your makeup to smear) try a more natural look, maybe just mascara and a dash of eyeliner.....
lime green hair color with blue/turquios makeup

Makeup help?
hi i have fair skin and blueish greenish eyes, more blue though theyre like aquaish. i have blonde hair and i have no idea what makeup to use, wat colors, and where or how to put it on so any help would b awsome! thanx a ton!
p.s. i wanna look natural and pretty not sexy and hotMakeup help?
Don't be a weirdo.Makeup help?
a light charcoal or black or even light brown have way across top lid, start at middle of pupil work way out, and very lightly along the entire bottom of eye, with a beige or more neutral color eye shadow, and black masacara on top and bottom lashes
If you're wanting too look natural, light browns and pink is the best. Applying a light brown or pink eyeshadow, hardly noticeable. If eyeliner, a brown at the top of the lashes to brighten your eyes. A brown mascara, one coat. Full n' Soft is the best kind. A light pink or peach lip gloss.
Try using a neutral pink, curl your eye lashes %26amp; apply some mascara, and a little bit of eyeliner on your top lid.
i have blue/green/gray eyes (depending on my clothes) and pale skin and brown hair. i wear white under my eyebrow and pinksih gold in the crease and a light brown near the lash line. then i blend it all together. with a thin black liner on top and black mascara.
if you really want some good advice goto a makeup counter. my personal favorite is MAC. there are counters at dillards and nordstroms and they also have free standing stores.
It is hard to access you via yahoo questions, so my suggestion to you is why don't you start off with one of those free makeovers department stores offer. Not only is this a fun and exciting way to try new colors and learn about makeup, but they can match your skin tone for your foundation. They can determine the right shades of eyeshadow for those aquaish eyes as well as blushes and shades of lip sticks. Just remember, the more natural your makeup looks, the more appealing it is. Good luck and have fun with this!
If you want just natural try mascara and a bit a lip gloss (light pink maybe)
Go to www.marykay.com/slbrown06 and click on virtual makeover and it will lead you through your skin color and some other questions then tell you what colors you should wear. It also tells you how to apply it.
I will also be selling Avon soon. So if you are interested in that the email me.

Mineral Makeup help plz!!!! (10 pts....
can i buy good mineral makeup at walmart (like is almay a good one?) any help is apperciated-if i find one....10 pts to best thanx (also thats non acnegenic) -if thats a word-lolMineral Makeup help plz!!!! (10 pts....
Never tried Almay.. since I couldn't find it. But I use Physicians Formula. Don't use their brush, it's crap. Also, having a proper base will do wonders, since I noticed that when I used a newer primer I just bought, it made the foundation have a weird sheen, which it does normally have, but it's a nice sheen. So try it out with the brush, and if you like how it works, then invest in a new brush, either a stippling brush for a really light coverage or a kabuki/buffing rounded brush for a medium coverage.Mineral Makeup help plz!!!! (10 pts....
Almay is good because It is a sister company to Clinique...Fragrance free and allergy tested...You will be good to go with that one..As far as the MINERAL thing ehhhh, I haven't really gotten good reviews for people with oily or breakout prone skin, so if your skin is either of those things then I would stay away from the mineral part and stick with a good oil free make up...Still though Almay is good...=)
Bella Pierre is a great product. I am in Australia and it's a US company but it's so good it made it down under.
I hate wearing make up but this products is so light and makes you look and feel so good.
I love it!
yepp.
maybelline, physicians formula, loreal, almay, and covergirl are some brands that have mineral makeupp.
all found at walmart.
sure I like other brands like physician's formula or roreal
Here is a website that helps you find great mineral makeup. Hope it helps.
yeahh like they have phycicians formulaa its kind of expensivee but i like it alot (:
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
target has bare minerals. and theres a starter kit that i bought which was like $50.

Which makeup??!!?? HELP!!?
Okay, I have very light skin, hazel eyes, and brownish hair. I NEED HELP on which makeup to buy. Please make it cheap, because I am on a budget. I can spend around $5 - $10 maximum. I'm looking for good, sheer lipgloss that isn't sticky, and goes on very easy. It has to be a light shade for school. I am also looking for a cheap, but very good mascara that won't clump and stays on for a long time. I don't need any foundation or powders or anything.
I am considering New Maybelline SuperStay Power Gloss 12-Hour Color in a Nude Shade, and Maybelline Great Lash Mascara.
If you know anything better, please put the product's name and price, and if it works well.
Please and thank you!!Which makeup??!!?? HELP!!?
Maybelline, pink and green mascara... Classic! So great, I've used it for years! I like the blackets black, it just looks better than the brown on me, but for lighter skin I'd go with the blackish-brown. As far as lip gloss. I love Revlon Super Lustrous lip-gloss in Pink Afterglow. It's great shine, not sticky and it comes in different shades, but the pink afterglow is my favorite! I don't like the extended wear glosses, they feel like nail polish when I put them on... It's easier and mor comfortable to just re-apply!Which makeup??!!?? HELP!!?
L'Oreal has great new foundation that matches really well with most skin tones. I would suggest going to a drug store and checking them out. I think they're around $8 and go on really smooth. Maybelline is a super choice for mascara, cheap and an oldie but a goodie. I also like Maybelline's potted blushes. They are creamy and really enhance the color in my face. Experiment and have fun.
Some AWESOME inexpensive mascara is Maybelline Define-A-Lash. You won't get any clumps and it works really well.
For your lips, I really like Wet N Wild MegaPlump lipgloss. It makes your lips look really full and has some great colors too.
brown eye colors would look good you can find really cheap eye shadow, if you want to you could even check the dollar store for eye shadow, usually they have lots of colors... and try using lash exact by covergirl mascara it goes on great and won't clump up like other brands it's about 5-6.00 , but totally worth it and for the lipgloss burt's bee's lipgloss in raspberry flavored is a non sticky nice clear gloss and isnt too exspensive def. not over 10! hope this helps! :)
N.Y.C. is a good product that is very inexpensive. I love all their products, but I haven't tried their mascara. You might want to check them out. I know Target carries N.Y.C.. Hope I've helped!! Have fun.
Well for lip gloss I absolutely love Rimmel London Sweet Jelly or something like that. It's not sticky and it's like around 2-3 dollars. I absoultely love it and don't use anything else!
I also really like their mascara. It's called XXX Lengthening mascara. It doesn't clump and the brush lengthens your lashes. It's about 4-5 dollars. You can find Rimmel at Wal-Mart!
Hope this helps!
Maybelline.

Flawless Makeup Help!!?
Ok, I have MAC Studio fix foundation powder.. And i hate it!
I want something that has good coverage just for a couple blemishes, and that doesnt feel Heavy or greasy or anything.. just light, also want a matte finish..
I will Buy anything! drug store or department store,..
Oh, I also have Combination Skin.. And i know this is alot lol but do i need moisturizer? Primer? or anything else..
Thank A Bunch!!Flawless Makeup Help!!?
Ya, you definitely need a moisturizer. Try mark.'s Matte Chance Mattifying Lotion ($15) as a good base coat.
Then top with mark.'s Powder Buff foundation ($8) for a flawless look.Flawless Makeup Help!!?
if you only need to cover a few spots, why not just use a concealer? i really really love make up forever's ';full cover'; concealer. it's a tiny bottle for $30, but i bought it over a year ago and it's still half-full. make up forever is a brand they use on movie sets and stages, so it's pretty intense in terms of pigment. it's also waterproof, which is nice. just pat on a tiny amount with a synthetic-haired concealer brush and set it with a little powder. if you want to try it, go to a sephora and have them make you a sample in your shade.
using a moisturizer is obvious. a primer might help a little in terms of evening out the texture, but in my experience it hasn't made that big of a difference.
Go to Sephora.
Go the the concealer section.
Buy a concealer.
I really like ';sheer cover'; because its really light with a matte finish and blends easily. Smashbox makes a really good primer called ';photofinish';. If you need moisturizer still, I would suggest clinique. hope this helps =)
clinique!!!!!!!they have great prodcuts and are very helpfull
i hate mac especially their employees. they think they look good with all that makeup and dont even offer me help and think just b.c im not wearing makeup at the time i shop that i dont need assistance and they dont even look like they even want to help me. but yeah also sephora they have great things there and very helpfull also
im using loreal true match and its great. ilove smashbox primer its awsome i cant wear makeup without it!!!
moisturizer i use clinique dramatically different GEL (for oil/combo skin). ans its really helped my appearance.
also aveeno is a great product and has also made my skin more even

UM MAKEUP help pliz!?
um yah i have really dark skin wat type of blash should i wear?UM MAKEUP help pliz!?
you mean blush?
pinksUM MAKEUP help pliz!?
hmm, im not a big fan of blush, but find a shimmer thats your color, i dont mean like glitter i mean like just a shimer, and rub it over your cheek bones, ring them out, and will give your skin kind of a glow, but not an oily one.
brownish
Try a shimmery *not glittery!* apricot colour.
well i have a really dark skin friend and she wears like a dark pinky colour and she is gorgeous. just try that..or if hat does'nt work try a light red. =)
yeah i agree with the person on top of me....pink blUsh
a soft pink not neon pink thought.
natural-earthy tones would be good
I shall never understand:
blonde girls want to be brunette
brunettes wants to be blonde
why do not just try to live in peace with yourself?
blondes are superbe.
brunettes are superbe.
Definitly medium to red. Since you have darker skin you need the blush to show so it needs to be a red rather than a pink. Good Luck!
maybe like a redish pinkish color
DEFINITELY NOT PINK! Use orange-ish or brownish blush!!
for ur kinda skin first u should apply a foundation just a tone lighter which shudnt make u look chalky white...after that go for bright colors like peach, baby pink , light red ...pls dont go for brown %26amp; maroon hope this helps

I have black hair and dark brown eyes? <fair skin> 5'5 (if that matters)...makeup help?
Use facial lotion with an SPF of 15. (I use Dove.) Apply black mascara on top lashes only. If you easily get teary, use waterproof mascara. (I love Covergirl Lash Exact and Maybieline Great Lash!) If you have acne or dark circles use a concealer thats about two shades lighter than you skin to make up for the darkness for circles. (Neutrogena is really good.) Also, use a Bonnebell bronzer that's 3 shades darker than your skin. Finally use some flavored lip balm and lip gloss, like Lip Smackers!I have black hair and dark brown eyes? %26lt;fair skin%26gt; 5'5 (if that matters)...makeup help?

~light mousse foundation
~dark brown eyeshadow... (make it darkest near the lashes and then lighten it up as u go up)
~black or dark blue eyeliner
~black mascara
**advice: put some powder under your lower eyelid to prevent smearing. then put some mascara on your lower lashes...
**for a fun touch.. add some glitter in the corner of your eyes!I have black hair and dark brown eyes? %26lt;fair skin%26gt; 5'5 (if that matters)...makeup help?
ah i have the same thing! i like to wear pink, coral and grey. it may sound dull, but it brings out the rosy undertones in your skin. here's what would look good on you-
eyeshadow- Black Radience Shimmer Shadow in Silver Fox (grey shadow to enhance eyes)
cheeks- NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Powder in Pink Cheek Glow. (rosy pink)
lips- Sonia Kashuk Luxury Lip Color in Cherry Blossum (darkish pink, not too dramatic) you can only get Sonia Kashuk stuff at target if that helps.
good luck :)

wear a little bit of jet black eyeliner.side bangs are always cute, and maybe you could darken it.[:Need new hair and makeup.HELP?
What type of makeup are you looking for? I usually tend to go natural. It's hard to find natural where I live. Haha.
My eyes are normally brown, but turn hazel-ish in the sun(weird), so to bring out my eyes, I usually line my top lid with a light brown liquid or gel eyeliner, and line my bottom with a white eyeliner to make me look awake. Then I just curl my lashes, add mascara on my top and bottom lashes, and that's it for the eyes. No eyeshadow, no eyebrow pencil, only eyeliner and mascara. And for cheeks, I am very tan already, so most of the time, I just like a light, peach color to give me that ';flushed'; look. i like to use NARS blush in orgasm. =) I like to look natural. Just depend on natural beauty.
As for hair, I can't help you there. I get my hair guy Raymond to do my hair, and I have naturally stick straight hair, so my hairstlyes will probably not work for you. Lol. But hey-add some mousse or textureizer to your hair and scrunch it to give it a beachy look.
i would get a cute bob-type haircut, because it sounds like that would really help you. i would apply some brown eyeliner to the inside of your eye, curl your lashes, apply some clear mascara, some coffe eyeshadow until your crease line, nude lipgloss and liner, and you're done!
well if u wanna change your look, hair-you should get some high lites maybe a dirty blonde type that's so cute
makeup-get a zesty brown from mac and mix it with a gold type of shadow, mascara were a dark brow , eyeliner- were a dark brown alsoinc.

i would do black liqued eyeliner,
black pencil eyeliner very lightly on the bottom
so u can see it but its light, it wont look gothic this way.
also make sure to extend ur lines so your eyes look bigger and PREETIER!!!! also make the top line a little biger then the bottom. Also make sure you put on mascara on bottom and top. Even if u never do did it before DO IT!! it will stand out and everybody will notice something diffrent but half the guys wont kno wat, theyll just kno ur prettier.
also if you use foundation make sure u use powder on top ( it will keep ur foundation on without ur zits coming out from under the foundation) and use brozer but a little, not alot, just to make ur skin glow, and make ur skin look perfect.
also apply some blush but not big circles on ur cheeks cuz that will make u look NOT good and childish. brush it LIGHTLY from ur cheek bone going up toward ur ear ( or the place between ur eye and ear)!! this will make ur cheek bone AMAZING and also help ur skin look better. but dont apply so u can tell just enough to not make u pale and ull see the diffrence when ur putting it on. if u think put on to much take a piece of tissue or toilet paper works to and lighter hardly touching ur cheek brush it like u wold if ur putting it on. Also If you would like to put on eyeshadow it depends on what you like. If u havebrown eyes i would put on some simmer eyesadow, but u need to practice putting it on so that ur eyes open up more. If you would like a more dramatic look then use a dark color and a light color that look good together. Then brush the light color on your eyelid when ur done brush the dark over the light but only on one half of the eyelid thats closer to ur ear. So the half thats closer to ur nose would be light and the half thats closer to ur ear would be darker. But again u would need a little practice, but if u have done this before u know exactly wat im talking about. now for the lips it depends is it a girls night out or is it with ur boyfriend??? if ur with girls make sure u use a pretty pink lip gloss and the best one r the sticky ones cuz they make ur lips look bigger and better. but if ur with guys that u will prob. make out with i would use ur favorite chap stick that tastes yummy and make ur lips look kissably soft. in my opinion i luv softlips they come in many yummy flavors thatmake ur lips supper soft and the guy wont mind it cuz its not sticky or gross. u could get it at walgreens!! I hope i helped and have a fun night @ the movies!!!!Movies Tonight...Hair and MakeUp help PLZZZ....thanks!!!?

black or brown eyeliner really suits people with brown eyes and black hair. and try warmer shades (eg gold, browns) of eye shadow as well.

Makeup help please?!?
is this too much makeup for a 13 year old to wear or is it fine?
maybelline superstay silky foundation (just a little)
bronzer
mascara
benefits eyebright ( i use it as a concealer for under eye circles)
sometimes light brown eyeliner or eye shadowMakeup help please?!?
light foundation is good..just please please never ever put too much or cake it up because that makes you look orange..dont wanna go there.the idea is to look very natural..like your skin but better.i dont think u need bronzer..if anything it should be blush...but if your gonna go THERE you hafta go to a lady in the counter and ask for advice on what color is right for your skintone nad most importantly where and how much to apply. its one of the trickiets makeup products. under eye concealer is good, if ur wearing mascara an eyelash curler is exremely recomended [shu uemera=cult favorite and mine] and if ur ever doing liner DONT go in the water line that makes ur eye look smaller and if u put it on top and the outer corners it actually opens up your eye a lot. you really dont need eyeshadow right now and if ur gonna ask someone you know for tips like countouring and highlighting the brow bone with white eyeshadow.good luck!Makeup help please?!?
i don't think you need bronzer. your 13, don't you already have a sun kissed face? and i don't think you need foundation either. you prob have wonderful skin. the benefits eyebright is okay i think. and the eyeliner is fine, as long as you dont use like a pund on your eyes. same with the shawdow.
i very much recommend u NOT to use foundation and bronzer...
mascara, light eyeliner, powder and lip gloss are enough i guess....
you're still 13 and you don't want foundation and such ruins your healthy skin.. they clog pores... but as long as you can take care of your skin,, no problem then...
as for concealer..... do you REALLY have under eye circles?? i mean... youngsters are not supposed to have dark circles early...
hope this helps..
Stick to mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss. Foundation is bad for your skin! When you get older your skin will have bad texture. You're still young, your skin can't be that bad! If it's a acne problem then use a good cleanser. You're already beautiful, makeup should be fun!
Skip the concealer and you can use the foundation for the circles, and get rid of the bronzer, your barely 13, shouldn't even worry about this until your about 15-16, so don't over do it.
well, if i were you i wouldn't use foundation. (it sometimes makes people look fake.)
and in MY opinion bronzer makes some people even worse.
but because i dont have a picture of you i cant tell you. but thats just my opinion.
I would suggest to use just mascars and/or eye liner.
and the eyebright thing is fine too.
but honestly, as long as you dont look like a hoebag, and you are a ****, then there shouldnt be a problem. (that kinda came out wrong)
thats not. by the time i was 13 i was wearing mascara. cover-up. eyeshadow. and a little liner. so i think you're in the clear
Sounds fine to me. I knew girls who wore like crazy black eye makeup every where when they were 13 and it looks terrible. I think you're totally fine.
Totally fine! Just don't use too much of each product. Good luck :D
No it's not to much--do you really have under eye circles?
no its not i use makup too and its okay!!!

Eye makeup help?!?!?!?
my friends always say i have asian eyes! i personally like asians eyes, just not on me. i heard white eye liner can help open up your eyes so i bought some. i hears you put it on the inner bottom lashes? also do like to wear eye makeup so my eyes dont look naked. how can i use the white liner with other eye makeup too? help!Eye makeup help?!?!?!?
you don't necessarily have to use only white eyeliner. any bright color, like silver will help make your eyes pop. i would say avoid using dark colors that can make your eyes look smaller. a nice lengthening mascara can also give the effect of a bigger eye.
good luck!Eye makeup help?!?!?!?
Tips to make your eyes appear bigger:
-Apply white eyeliner to your waterline. (Which is what you're doing)
-Apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes. It opens your eye up.
-Apply a thin layer of black eyeliner on your eyelid, along your eyelashes. This will make your eyelashes appear thicker, and therefore bigger.
-Apply a white or beige eyeshadow on your eyelid. (All the way up to your eyebrow, if you desire)
A video tutorial on making your eyes appear bigger and brighter:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4GVBkicn鈥?/a>
i'm pretty sure you're supposed to put the white liner on your waterline, which is the part of your lower eyelid between your eye and your lower lashes (that thin, pink part of your lower lid that you see best when you pull it down). it's supposed to extend the whites of your eyes to make them look bigger.
long, curled lashes can open up your eyes too.
White eyeliner?? Im not sure what your skin color is so it is hard to make a judgement on what would match your skin tone, however I do recommend a black or brown eyeliner to outline and make your eyes seem round and some times larger. I need a few more details then 'asian eyes.'

use white liner on your bottom lash line and the corner of your eyes wth black mascara on your top lashes and light purple shadow
u can also u white liner on your brow bone as a high light not much people no that but it works
Navy Blue mascara also makes the whites of your eyes whiter which gives them the appearance of being more wide.
use ice blue eye shadow, black mascara, and of course the white eye liner. Your eyes will stand out in a good way!
use sparkly eye shadows that are neutral tones.
the trick with white eyeliner is that it's not supposed to be completely visible
for example
if someone is 5 ft. away
they shouldn't be able to immediately notice my eyeliner
i have asian eyes (cuz i'm asian)
and this is what i do
i line my inner bottom rim (not top as well, because it gets covered up with eyeliner or mascara eventually)
then i line my entire eye with a thin line of black eyeliner (thinner or thicker is your preference)
make sure, when lining the bottom, to line outside the white line
so think this
line inner rim with white
line lashes with black
and finally
if you want
put on a coat of mascara
well you should use black eyeliner with black mascarra and with blue eye shadow.

Eye makeup help Please?
Okay, I want to try my eye makeup like this for Halloween: (maybe on normal days too. =P) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7omYxSqRj鈥?/a> stop on 4:32 (The girl has black hair with a little red.)
How do you do your makeup like this? Can someone make a tutorial or show me one that is similar? Thanks! (:Eye makeup help Please?
It's basically just black eyeshadow put on all over (both upper and lower lid). To get the gray/faded out look, you can either blend out the black eyeshadow or blend a little bit of white or silver into the shadow.
If you're having trouble with the eyeshadow staying on, try buying a primer like Urban Decay's Primer Potion (I highly recommend it).
After you finish with the eyeshadow, you can take a black eyeliner pencil or a kohl pencil and draw a thin line across the top of your upper lid (near the lashes) and one on the bottom lid (inside of your water line or near the lashes).
It's an easy look to achieve once you know what you're doing, so try playing around with it. If you have any trouble, try looking at this for help:
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>
(Click on 'More Views' and click the picture of the three cards. Zoom in on the last one, called 'Classic Smoke')
I must warn you that you have to be careful with this look. Certain people with certain eyelid shapes can really achieve it without looking like a raccoon and it's very messy at times. Eye makeup help Please?
The best way is to get a good picture of what you want, then get a mirror and experiment until you get it looking the way you want.
That particular makeup was all black and off-white (rather dreary and not particularly cute, but Halloween is for looking weird anyway).
It doesn't take a lot of money - you don't need to buy expensive brands to get that look.
eyeliner is key! go under your eye and ontop of it surrounding it completely. also use black mascara and black eyeshadow.
also use white on your upper lid to contrast the black

what do you think of mineral foundation?
and what brand would you recommend?Makeup help please???
I have tried sooooooo many foundations and the best ones for me have been by Lancome. Go to a counter and have them test different ones for your skin type. It lasts so long, does not make me break out and it does not slide. The mineral stuff tends to dry out my face and MAC is only good for eye shadows, blush. lipstick/gloss.Makeup help please???
Bare Essentials for sure. MAC everything else.
bare minerals is awesome. it gives you an extremely natural look but makes your skin have that special glow. you dont look like you caked anything on. it is very good for your skin. and with bare minerals you can mix colors if you need to to get that perffecct color
DEFIANTLY Makeup Art Cosmetics (M.A.C). Its called ';Mineralize Skinfinish Natural'; and it costs $25, avalible at Macys or Nordstroms. I use it every day with a soft makeup brush to help keep my skin glowing, beautiful and heathy. I think if its not to much over your budget, its totally worth it! :) A makeup artist for MAC told me at Nordstroms.
i love mineral foundation i wear it everyday
i use everyday minerals its cheap if you get a custom kit and worth it
the coverage is great, i have really bad problem skin and when i use the foundation and concealer it looks completely normal
you can get sample kits where you just pay for the shipping
but i think its worth it i love it
i love mineral powder. i use femme couture. from the beauty supply store. i have never gone back to regular stuff. :)inc.

i think QV is a very gud moisturizer, especially if u have dry skin. i use it everyday. i love it.
black or brown eyeliner really suits people with brown eyes and black hair. and try warmer shades (eg gold, browns) of eye shadow as well.

If you have a Sephora in your area you should go. It is a make up store, it can be a bit expensive, but everything there is really good quality. If you go, a woman or man there will do your make up for you and put things on you that look good. Then you can buy it or change it up! I get all my stuff from there!
Youtube has some great tips on applying makeup, plus you get to watch them do it instead of readinding it. You can also get free makeovers in the Body Shop, they'll know what suits you

First timer with face makeup, HELP!?
My face is very oily, and I would like to start using foundation, concealer, etc.. I know that if I were to use anything like that, it would all slid right off, or cause me to break out terribly....
Is there anything I can use to stop my face from getting so oily and, if anyone knows of any face makeup that would cause me to NOT break out, that would also be helpful....
Thank you for your help

First of all, make sure you have an oil free foundation. You should try Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Liquid Foundation, it is made specifically for your skin type and it includes a gentle formula which reduces breakouts. Heres the link..
they have makeup designed just for oily skin and sensitive skin
you dont have to spend a lot to get good makeup but if you buy really cheap makeup your skin will start to look like helllllll....
so just try out a lot of different thing and find what fits you best also a rule i use....
if you dont need it dont use it :D
you should wash ur face a lot and drink more water for ur skin to become less oily. u should u a neutagena face wash. and to stop braking out too much wash ur face every night if u have makeup on cause that causes brakeouts

Eye makeup help!?
Whats a base,a primer and a higlighter for eye makeup?? explain to me what they all are and y u have to use themEye makeup help!?
Base and primer are essentially the same thing, primer is a type of base. It;s a liquid or cream applied to the eyelid to help eyeshadow stay on longer and not crease or fade. You can use primer, which is skin tone, or another base such as a cream shadow.
Highlighter is an eyeshadow in a light usually shimmery color applied to the browbone above the crease and in the inner corner. It just lightens the area and finishes the whole look. Most highlighting colors are ivory, beige, white, or a really light shade of the eyeshadow color already in use.Eye makeup help!?
You dont have to use them. :]
Base- usually reffered to as Base Color and its a color of eyeshadow you put on lid, crease, and brow bone. Its the base of all shadow. Useually a very light matte color.
Primer- A thickish gel or liquid the you put on your eyelid before any eye make up. Primers are suppost to keep make up in place and from creasing.
Highlighter- Useually put on brow bone and inner corner of eye lid. Highlights the eye making you ';sparkle';. When put on inner corner of lid its ment to ';open up the eye';. Useually a light, shimmery color.
primer is a cream that keeps your shadow from creasing and cracking.
base keeps your shadow on and makes it appear more vibrantly.
your highlight is a light color you put under your brow to emphasize the shape of you brow and give your makeup and extra touch.
primer-you should use
base-you should use
highlight-i would recommend it, but it's not a must.
it pretty much goes in order, a base just goes on your eyelids, a primer goes over your eye lids and up to about the middle of your brow bone and a highliter is dusted over the brow bone and up to the eye brow, the highliter is suppose to make your eyes look bigger and brighter
the primer-the color on the eyelid.
Than the highlighter is what you put above that color. on the creas of your eyelid.
and a highlighter the more glitter color where you put near your eyebrows.
ok its a shimmery color kinda and its used for greasy eye lids and so u dont get crease marks its just a base so ur eye shadow stays better
