Makeup help?

i just turned 14 so my mom said i can start wearing makeup, so i got a whole bunch at the store is there like any order i should/can do when i put it on?Makeup help?
If you're going to wear foundation, and you've got bad skin, you should invest in a good one. It will last for a long time, and the cheap stuff is only going to make you break out. I'd recommend a mineral foundation, preferably an all-natural one (try Origins or Bare Minerals--if you go to either of these counters in a department store they will help you pick the right shade!) That being said, I don't wear foundation every day, only when my skin is particularly bad. I just use a little concealer stick most of the time. My favorite concealer is Origins Quick, Hide! You can't even feel it. And it doesn't sweat off--good for summer.

For a natural look, I'd go with a gel blush. My personal favorite is from Revlon and it's called Pinch Me. Just squeeze out a tiny bit--smaller than a pea--and put it on the apple of your cheek (smile--the roundest part of your cheek is the apple!). Rub it outward in circular motions. Don't panic, it does look very bright when it first comes out of the bottle, but you can barely see it after you rub it in. This gives a really natural glow; it looks like it's coming from under your skin.

Next...eyeshadow! My favorite part. I don't wear eyeliner often, but when I do I tend to use neutral colors, like a cocoa brown or charcoal gray. I like Rimmel or Physician's Formula, the kind that click up instead of a pencil. Just basic, neutral tones will do. I'm a bit more adventurous with eyeshadow--I love funky colors--but for natural, a simple two-tone brown set will do great. Try Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Duos in Browntones. Very natural but just emphasize a little, and they will stay put while you're in school all day. The darker shade goes on your eyelid, fading out toward the crease. Then take the lighter shade and put it on from just below your crease (overlapping with the dark shade) up to your browbone. Fade it out before you get to your eyebrow. It's so light, it's easy.

Put on mascara after eyeshadow. I use Clinique or Revlon, but a TON of people swear by Maybelline Great Lash. I'd go with a waterproof dark brown--black doesn't look as natural, although it works too. :) A tip--use the pointy end of the wand to do the lashes at the outside corners of your eyes individually. It'll make them look extra-long.

Finally, lips. I'd stay away from lipliner, as it almost never looks natural. For you, a light gloss is probably best during the day. My favorite is Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in East End Snob--it's pretty translucent, just adds a nice, light pink shine, and it isn't too sticky. And it smells great! I've also heard good things about Covergirl Wetslicks--if you go to their website they'll pick out shades based on your coloring.

Have fun! I'm sure you'll look great ;)

PS-Makeup is very cheap in Wal-Mart, Walgreens or Target.Makeup help?
Overall face:

concealer over blemishes (BLEND IT IN!!!), then blush, then a smidge of concealer over that. Then get a paper towel and use that to bland it and make it look natural.

Eyes:

Eye liner (thin line NOT raccoon eyes), next mascara, then eye shadow (light natural color or bright bold color).

Lips:

lip liner(optional), then chap stick, then lipstick, then lip gloss.

*All of this is optional but is suggested for best results. You don't have to wear any of the things I listed, but if you want, please use it in the order listen above. You don't want to mix you makeup together and get it all messy! Remember not to use too much because less is more!*
there are tutorials on you tube.

My suggestions would be..

';lightly ';moisturize first, it helps things go on smoothly.

don't use foundation. ever. unless you're getting photos done . It ruins your skin. or you can use it with a q tip as cover-up only where you need it.

if you have the occasional pimple and you don't mind being a bit dramatic...twist a brown eyeliner over it ( very tiny dot) and set it with powder. instant beauty mark just like a model..assuming its not in the middle of your forehead!

try to stick with natural eyeshadow colors and just use the bright colors as eyeliner. you can use a q tip if you don't have a tiny brush.

don't outline your whole eye. it looks best if you run a line from the middle of your upper lid to the outer corner. same on the bottom if you like it there.

if you choose to use blush...blend and then blend some more

try making an evil grin and then only put the blush on the upper part of your cheeks. don't get it too close to your nose.

look in magazines for photos of models with your skin and hair color and use their colors, they have professionals doing it.

don't rely on the advice of anyone who is selling make up. most of them are untrained people trying to make a buck.

if you do have a department store that does makeup at the counter, remember, you do not have to buy anything from them. only buy what you like. don't let someone guilt you into things that sit in a drawer.

always put mascara on last, and once again keep q tips around. when you get mascara where you don't want it ( and you will) use a damp q tip. twist it with your fingers over the mistake and you wont have to redo the whole thing.
mostly i start with eyes first, then face, then lips, but it makes absolutely no difference. a little tip, take pics of yourself with each make up style so you can see what suits you best. good luck!!!x

dana's answer is good.
Foundation after that is Eyeshadow then goes Eyeliner then do Lipstick/Lipgloss then mascara

If there are one of these u don't have then just skip that step. Make sure to do Mascara last cuz it can smudge..
