Ok, so... I have quite big eyelids and so a lot of the makeup my friends do, or any of the usual stuff just doesn't look good... if anyone has any suggestions or links to good articles that would be great...

If you have a Sephora in your area you should go. It is a make up store, it can be a bit expensive, but everything there is really good quality. If you go, a woman or man there will do your make up for you and put things on you that look good. Then you can buy it or change it up! I get all my stuff from there!
Youtube has some great tips on applying makeup, plus you get to watch them do it instead of readinding it. You can also get free makeovers in the Body Shop, they'll know what suits you
