Guys wearing makeup isn't so abnormal these days. As mentioned above a lot of male models wear it on the runway, celebrities wear it, news anchors and TV personalities wear it for their job, ad nauseam.
I tried it a couple of times as a teen but didn't like the way it made my skin tone look. I prefer my natural complexion, but if it makes you feel better about yourself or more comfortable, or you just like the way it looks then go for it. Different strokes for different folks...
If you're both attracted to each other and in love I don't see what the big deal is. Apparently you both like it on each other. As a male model I regularly wear makeup, even if I don't apply it myself at home or when I'm at classes, and no one IRL says a thing about it. You both look cute to me and as long as you have each other what else matters? Maybe people are jealous because you're cuter than them, who knows?
I would try working on the flaw of being so overly aware of what others think if it were me, rather than any alleged physical ones.
I think the general consensus is that an attractive male doesn't need to wear makeup, and it's not very masculine, so people think it's weird or that you're covering something up. Whatever floats your boat though.

Makeup help? 10 POINTS!

You can go to a salon and have your eyebrows colored if your worried about them being to light and i thought this video was a great one for instruction. Her make-up looked great. I do my eyes like this all the time with lots of different shades just keep practicing and you will be fine. Practice makes perfect, good luck! :) P.S. I know you can also go to a salon and hold a mirror and have an esthetician show you how to apply the eyeshadow, or even at the MAC counter at like Macy's.

Thick black liner on the top lashes, it looks like she used pencil.

It really only looks like she is wearing black eyeliner. I would suggest using a kohl eyeliner pencil, or if you like liquid liner, use that only on the top, and a pencil eyeliner on the bottom.
First, tug lightly at the skin beside the outer corner of your eye, and close your eye slightly so you can see the top lashline well. Take your eyeliner pencil, and starting at the middle of the eye, draw a line right along the lashline, and as close to your lashes as you can get (you don't want a gap between your lashes and the eyeliner). Draw a thin line of eyeliner near the inner corner, as you don't need as much there. Do the same on your bottom lashline as you did on the top.
Now, all you need to do is go back over the eyeliner and add more, until you get the desired thickness.

It's very good at covering small problem areas and giving you a good overall coverage without causing breakouts. You should try combining a benzoyl peroxide based acne gel w/ a light moisturizer followed by this mineral makeup.Mineral makeup help!!!?

Petroleum jelly is also a refined mineral and not good for all skin types!
Just pick a good oil-free foundation and make sure to wash with a good cleanser each night (Purpose is great, Cetaphil is a great cleanser but not a good makeup remover), and use a moisturizer with salicylic acid, like Neutrogena Rapid Clear.
I use Twisted Fayte's Mineral Makeup and Urban Apothecary. Love both and they wear much better than traditional makeup.

I have acne and acne scars too, you should just get concealer to cover up all the blemishes. It's best not to wear ANY make-up at all. Wash your face everytime you go the the restroom. Make-up will make your face oily and cause more acne (Which you don't want)

Find a lightweight, overall coverage foundation. The one I use is MAC's spf liquid foundation. They offer one that gives a satin/shine finish, and a dewy finish. Both give off an amazing glow. It is an absolutely perfect product.
Once you have found the perfect foundation, it will give you so much coverage that you won't even need coverup
