Cakey makeup.. help.?

so i have acne.


and alot of acne scars.


meaning i wear alot of makeup.


which ends up looking like crap and cakey.


and just gross.

I use Revlon cover-up that is made for use on acne. I then use Merle Norman Mineral Makeup.Cakey makeup.. help.?
try to stick to powder not liquid bcuz mostly all liquids end up cakey
I've heard that mineral makeup is great for acne and bad skin - apparently some brands even claim that they can help to heal scars etc. There are many mineral makeup brands for sale at Amazon.com





Why don't you talk to your skin doctor before buying anything?
I have acne and acne scars too, you should just get concealer to cover up all the blemishes. It's best not to wear ANY make-up at all. Wash your face everytime you go the the restroom. Make-up will make your face oily and cause more acne (Which you don't want)
Tease is right, don't wear makeup. Clean your face and try that oxy stuff. It burns, but it does work. Wait until your skin is clear to wear make up and when you do, go for something that works well with sensitive skin.
By lots of makeup do you mean foundation and coverup, or eyemakeup?


If you mean foundation and coverup, here is the solution.


Find a lightweight, overall coverage foundation. The one I use is MAC's spf liquid foundation. They offer one that gives a satin/shine finish, and a dewy finish. Both give off an amazing glow. It is an absolutely perfect product.


Once you have found the perfect foundation, it will give you so much coverage that you won't even need coverup
dont wear makeup if u hav acne its jst making it worser and worser. once ur an adult you will regret it majorly. cleanse your face least 3 times a day til all acne is gone. make up will only create more unsmooth skin texture
