Makeup help?

Okay...


So i'm starting 7th grade and have a cute outfit and cute acsessories and a great attitude...I have no clue what makeup to wear! I wore mascara and lip gloss last year but I don't know if I should wear eyeliner too or eyeshadow?

For being so young I'd say use a little powder on your face if you want to cover anything up.





Try a little bit of brown eyeliner just on the top lids and outer corners of the bottom ones, don't use black yet, wait till youre older.





And you said you already use mascarra, try covergirl lashblast, personally i love it.


And a touch of khaki eyeshadow it looks really natural but it also wakes up your eyes.





And the lipgloss.





Just remember dont go too thick on anything, the trick is to let people think you arnt wearing any makeup.

The problem with wearing makeup at a young age is that you often can't afford the correct brushes and stuff to make it look nice. MAC is a good brand and so it maybelline (sometimes)


but NYC is pretty generic and covergirl has it's good and bad types of makeup. Mascara sounds good, any maybe earthy tones, like tan or light brown for eyeshadow. Eyeliner is hard to apply and often runs, which irritates the eyes- lip gloss, mascara, maybe a little concealer and you're good to go!

*gold eyeshadow (i usually don't use Loreal, but their Wear Infinite Eye Shadow in Buttercup is gorgeous)


*mascara(Covergirl Lashblast, Maybelline Full N' Soft)


*eyeliner (N.Y.C. Brow and Liner Pencil)


*concealer (any of those brands' concealers are fine)


*powder if you want(Covergirl Fresh Look Pressed Powder)


*blush (Covergirl Cheekers Blush)


*Lip gloss (Covergirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers)

I am going into 8th grade so I know how you feel.





Don't wear too much make up for the first day of school. It might make you look trashy.





However, nude colors are in style right now. I would go with a ligh brown eyeshadow and a soft black mascara. For mascara's I would reccomend either covergirls lash blast or maybelinne's xxl curl. Also another brand i like that works is MAX (I know its not on your companies you like list but go check it out they have cute stuff and great mascara's)
Mac has awesome eyeliner but mostly when people are in seventh grade they only wear light eyeshadow and mascara, lip gloss but just try that the first day or 2 and when u go to school try to see how the other people wear their make up (natural , heavy) I'm not saying you should try to be like everyone else but i would want to be out of place...as in if you go there all decked out in make up and no one else is wearing that much u might look a little out of place/embarrassed
eyeliner:





is really hard to find the goods. if the eyeliner makes youre eyes look small and catlike DONT USE IT! and if you want to wear it that badly, apply in the corners of youre eyes. RIMMEL london has some great eyeliner.





eyeshadow:





go with dark colors. navy blue and purple are big this year. dont over do it. wear eyeshadow on youre lid.





since youre in the seventh grade, i wouldnt wear so much makeup every day. try three times a week. wearing lipgloss and mascara is okay for every day though.





oh, and dont wear NYC unless its the nailpolish. the makeup is really crappy.
i think for everyday school a sweep of peachy blush, some mascara on the upper lashes, and some nice fruity lip gloss would be great. IF you want more on the eyes i would suggest a light sweep of some light green eyeshadow just on the lid (the place right above your eyelashes). Don't go ever board with it.
* try some foundation to even out yur skin and to make it look smooth


*a pinkish reddish blush would look good too (unless u have naturally rosy cheeks)


*some eyeshadow (pick a color that matches yur outfit)


*black or brown mascara


*eyeliner (it might be hard to put on at first so if u cant do it well dont put any on)


*pink, brown, or red lipgloss (whichever matches yur outfir better)


*remember too much makeup looks worse than none. it might take some practice
just go buy the cheapest make up you can and test out the colors


oh and ask your mom or a friend to teach you how to wear eyeliner so you dont over do it and look like a hooker ha.


but hey your young-er so dont overpower your face with make up


natural make up is the prettiest anywayss
Im also going into 7th grade and if you wear to much makeup you look kinda trashy wear i come from so keep it simple!


Black mascara wit curled eyelashes


Maybe a champagne or sheer light brown eyeshadow


Brown eyeliner isnt scary looking and really complents most faces better during daytime!!


For your lips stick to a sheer apricot or peach lipgloss!!


Mac makes an excellent variety!

yea its not a good idea to put your pic on the internet so dont!but last year i was in 7th grade and i wore eyeline and mascara.trust me you dont need much b/c it does run and by the end of the day you'll look like an emo kid so yea just do a little eyeline and mascara!

Well your too young, but some maybelline mascara, lip gloss, %26amp; a tiny bit of covergirl blush would look cute. No eyeliner in my opinion. Good luck!

but this year i'll wear eyeliner and a light pink eyeshadow jus to make yer eyes pop !

hey okay if u need to or want to try using a tinted moisturizer and i don't kno if u wnat to use too much make up at a young age choose wisely for products
I always like wearing a brand new outfit on my first day of school. I think wearing neutral color is good since the first day of school is special but not that special.
just add eyeliner cause eyeshadow will take it over the top and it might seem like your are addicted to makeup!
go with maybelline my siter did a siceince project and found out that it lasts longest

Hey! You're too cute! I used to work at MAC in Hawaii.. so since schools now days are starting SOOO early, why not a nice natural summer look? For your eyes, I would probably go with Sable (bronzy w/ a purplish/red undertone - it'll bring out your brown eyes), Sumptuous Olive (golden/olive green), or Pink Bronze Pigment (golden/pink undertone - goes on great wet or dry and when applied ';loosely'; can be worn on cheeks)- since you're still young, i would probably suggest using one eyeshadow color on your lid and mix it up by using an angle brush to apply the shadow as eyeliner under your eye.. also, a good hilight color for your tone would be Brule. (Hilight color goes right under the arch of your eye and remember not to blend too low where it's covering the eyeshadow color on your lid). If you have trouble with your mascara running, i always use waterproof. MAC sells splashproof or loudlash in waterproof.. i prefer splashproof - it adds thickness and length to lashes. OR since MAC is a little pricy, use Maybeline Full N Soft waterproof.


For your face, I would use Mineral powder in Med-Med/Dark for your cheeks to give you that nice glow instead of a shiny/oily skin looking glow that some bronzers give.
