Makeup help ?

I';m going for an everyday, subtle, pretty look that i can wear to school everyday. I would like to know if the TRU blend collection from Covergirl is any good.. what products from it do you recommend?

I'm wondering how i can line my eyes.. do gel eyeliners work or pencils? i want it to be subtle.. maybe frosty pink eyeshadow?

ANY PRODUCTS?? REASONABLE PRICE RANGE PLEASE. THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE! :)Makeup help ?
I personally only buy from MAC because they have awesome stuff and it lasts a long time. The reason I don't do covergirl and stuff like that for foundation is because I can never find anything that really matches my skin tone without trying it on. However, I do use Loreal liquid eyeliner and mascara. I heard that they are made by Lancome...not sure if that is a fact or not, tho.Makeup help ?
I love http://www.barely-there-mineral-makeup.c鈥?/a> and actually they are offering free foundation samples. Their stuff is very natural looking and not expensive. I love thier blush called antique rose and these eyeshadows, sand-rose-white-sunset-star blue. I would not use gel or liquid eyeliner as that is too harsh. Pencil is much better in a bwon, dark brown or smoke not black and one that goes on easy that you don't have to light. The company above also sells natural stick eyeliner that just glides right on. I would watch out for Tru blend . I think it contains bismuth oxychloride and parabens
I use covergirl and love it. If you do decided to use a liner go with pencil and use brown eye liner not black it might be to dark for the day. frosty not a good call go for something more pale like pale pink or even a bronzer it would make you look all sun kissed. physicians chose makes a good bronzer and it's a good price. to complete the look go for a lip tint or lip gloss for bath and body works
Hey there, I hope you don't mind when I copy/paste my answer from a previous question- it's extremely similar!

Isn't this look the hardest to do? Well, in my humble experience, I've found two brands that help achieve that natural look the best: BeneFit and Bobbi Brown. If these are too highi end for you and you prefer something less expensive, try Maybelline, Neutrogena, and Revlon instead.

1. Tinted moisturizer always looks more natural than foundations- you want to even out your skintone only, not cover it up and clog your pores like most foundations do. BeneFit makes a good TM, as does Neutrogena. For those formal occasions where you might need a fndt, try Bobbi Brown (one of the best!), or Revlon ColorStay instead.

2. Concealer- Neutrogena, Bobbi Brown (BB), and BeneFit (BF) all make great concealers, so be on the lookout- you want to look for something that matches your skin tone and your skin type.

3. Blush- Either skip on this altogether, or try something in neutral colors. BB's pot rouges are well known and well worth all the hype- I can't rave enough about them! So natural and pretty. BF also makes a product called BeneTint that is a tint for lips and cheeks, and looks exactly like a natural rosy flush. Maybelline's blushes are very easy to blend and don't look cakey or powdery at all.

4. Eyes- Firstly, start with groomed brows. Apply a little bit of clear mascara (Maybelline has one) to keep them in place all day and fill in any sparse areas with a little eyeliner or dark powdered eyeshadow. Apply a soft natural looking mascara if wanted on your top lashes (Cover Girl Lash Exact is a great one; Stila Major Lash Mascara is one of the best) only and lightly line the bottom lashes with a dark brown eyeliner- Maybelline has soft ones that look and feel very natural. L'Oreal has a great quad of neutral eyeshadow colors so experiment with them and find one that you feel suits your face and coloring the best.

5. Lips- Exfoliate your lips with a wet toothbrush and apply a nice moisturizing lip balm afterwards for the most natural looking pretty and plump lips. If you want some more color, Revlon's Shiny Sheer lipsticks are great- look around to see if you can find a color that matches your lips, or just apply some clear gloss on your lips.

There you go! You want the minimal amount of products on your face for a natural look and want to spend more time making sure everything is properly applied and blended. Remember, if you can't tell that you have something on, chances are others will probably think that too- and looking naturally fabulous can be your little secret ;)

As for the TRU blend collection- well, I'm not really familiar with it, but I hope my somewhat thorough answer will not limit you to CoverGirl's brand alone! Try out different things and see what you like best, and more importantly what you look best in.

Hope this helps :)
The tru blend collection is very good, although be sure to mix and match form other collection... personally the liquid eyeliners give a harsher look while the pencils can be very pretty ( use from the corner of your eye until the white of your eye meets the color, outside in) I would suggest a trio of eyeshadows to mix and match a neutral eyeshadow trio with a pink, beige, and light brown, are perfect for the everyday look that you are trying to achieve...

CVS and drugstores have all of the makeup that you will need, no high end stuff for your first make up stuff- trust me the cheap stuff works just as well... the eyeliner will cost about 1-1.50$ and the tru match stuff can be very expensive 10-25$

hope this helps!
