Makeup Help for a 13 year old!?

which make up would be best? (i havent worn makeup before)

Here are some directions:





Above everything, apply some Oil Control Fair and Lovely Gel Mousturizer. It makes your skin glow.








1. Bare Naturale Mineral Foundation-


Get one in your color and it comes with a brush. I assume you know how to apply it.





2. A light skin-color eyeshadow.


Any brand would work.


Apply near your eyes.





3. L'Oreal Le Kohl Pencil in Brown or Black. Whatever you like.


If you want natural, GO for brown.


Lift your bottom eyelid and apply some there. It will look really good.





And some mascara- L'Oreal Telescopic (very natural)





4. L'Oreal Glam Shine Lip Gloss

Use a dark brown or black eyeliner for your upper lid, starting at the outside and line it a little more than halfway acrost the lid, it makes your eyes look bigger, dont line the bottom it closes the eyes and looks smaller and gunky. Architect mascara is great, use the waterproof its easy to get off and it stays on great. If you need foundation( ie splotchy skin or pimples, etc) go in and put it on your hand to make sure it matches your skin, its not cute when your face is 4 shades different than your body. Leave your eyebrows alone, you can tweaze them alittle bit but dont do the shave them off to pencil them in its horrible. Also if you want to make your eyes pop, not for school or everyday wear, put white or a really light color eyeshadow on VERY lightly right above your eyeliner. Dont go nuts with it, I think it looks better to not look like you have any on than to have it caked on.

HI, I THINK YOUR STILL YOUNG TO WEAR MAKE UP, BUT I GUESS IT'S THE MILLENNIUM AND YOU SHOULD. I CAN ONLY RECOMMEND BARE ESSENTIALS NATURAL MINERAL MAKE UP, A BIT EXPENSIVE, BUT ONCE YOU TRY IT THAT IS ALL YOU WILL EVER WEAR.....
i'm a guy so i wouldnt know anything about make-up but my friends and i (and lots of othe guys i know) like girls that wear very little or no make-up maybe little lipstick

k, you dont want too much, it looks too plasticy.im 13 and i just wear eyeliner on the top and mascara on the top, try out browns and golds on your eyelids. that's Wat i do. (light pinks work to, sparingly tho.)
When I was 13, my mom took me to the Clinique counter at the local mall and had them show me the proper way to apply makeup and also what colors would be best for me. It really helped.

i am your agish, and i wear clear mascara, light powder and light blush and lip gloss! stay away from black mascara, it looks to ';hookie';
starting makeup at 13 isnt really suggested.


it'll ruin your skin faster unless you're using really high quality products.

I would tell you to go with shades of brown for your eyes %26amp; warm light colors such as a bronze for your cheeks since it's summer %26amp; a pretty bronze with a little pinkish lip gloss. If you go on the internet and pull up the mary kay site %26amp; look in the makeup area there is a place where you can choose a face that resembles yours %26amp; apply makeup to her that might go well with your own skin tone %26amp; it will also give you that idea of how you can apply it on. I don'twear a lot of mary kay makeup but my friend sells it %26amp; the website is pretty neat!
Try a nice mascara and maybe a powder for your face.
weird- sounds just like me, because I'm 13 also. I would say a little black mascara, and a LITTLE bit of eyeliner
bare minerals or any other powder make-up. you don't want it to look lik you have on make-up.


umm the best mascre is Avon's Super Last! it makes it look lik you have fake lashes!

it'll just ruin it. for your eyes clear mascara,


first put a gold eyeshadow then a a little gold green but not so much you want your eyes to look yungand of course a clear lipgloss noting dark, keep pretty not over dramatic
dont over do it!!! keep it simple. make up is truly meant to enhance your look, not cover it up. a little tiny bit if blush and some mascara should be more than sufficient. keep the mascara light too and use brown instead of black to keep it soft. only put the blush on the apples of your cheeks - not up across your face and into your hair like lots of people do. maybe a shiny eyeshadow for a special evening occasion - but very very lightly so as not to over do it. you could also curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler ( buy one for a few dollars at the convenience store) and that will make you look awesome without any mascara at all.





whatever you do, remember to take off your makeup before bed or before working out - in order to prevent breakouts from clogged pores.
Are you allowed to wear makeup at 13? I wasn't allowed to do it on an everyday basis until I was about 16.





To start...I would suggest lipgloss and maybe pencil eyeliner and mascara. Keep your look fresh. You just want to accent....not cover up.

i have almost the exact some features and age. i have worn green, purple right now I'm wearing black and white i have also been where make up for like 2 years know. i also where black and white eyeliner and black and white mascara some times blue. right now I'm in to the whole black and white thing. and for cover up if you are thinking about cover up like just powder.;
simple is best! I know everyone says that, but its true...what i used to do is try different things like at night when you can just wash it off afterwards. That way you're not experimenting out in public, ya know? The only thing i wouldnt wear yet is eye liner... your still a little young for it. But thats not always a bad thing... not many ppl look good in it anyway lol good luck sweetie!
