In another question I have a tan face and I need help with My makeup, what colors go good, and the hose I have a black knee length skirt and white blouse I can wear black flats or black high heels with that. Any suggestions would be helpful.Makeup help?
For make-up gold colors always look good. Also light pinks and darker greens for eye-shadow are great colors to. The black flats look great for a casual event but the high heels are better for a dresser event.Makeup help?
If you need help with finding colors for makeup I would go to a department store and have a professional pick out your colors. Or get a book on the subject - you really just need to learn to have an eye for what colors go well with your skin tone, whether you're warm, cool, or neutral, and other stuff like that.

Ok, sweets, this is coming from a skincare professional: I agree that pro-activ is bad. It may work temporarily but it does not solve the real issues. You could get the same results by using Clearasil because it has the same active ingredients. For my clients with acne, I use Murad. We have amazing results with Dr. Murad's products. Everyone who has used them has had excellent results.
Please be careful when using an extractor to remove blackheads as you can very badly damage your skin and cause trauma. If you have inflamed pustules, you need to be sure and not spread the bacteria that comes out of them as this will cause more breakouts. What works the best is q-tips to gently remove the debris from the pore. If your skin is really bad, I recommend you see a dermatologist to get some ant-biotics to help get it under control. Also, you could work with an aesthetician (or a beauty school because it will cost less) to have high frequency treatments that will kill the bacteria in the pores.
About the blush: pinch your cheek a bit and whatever colour it appears to be it the colour you need to use. Ask a friend or beauty advisor to help you match it.
If you have more questions you can e-mail me at firefliesinajar@yahoo.com. I will happily try to help you!
My niece had terrible acne and then she started using Pro-Active. It really did work for her.
Proactive, a little pricey but I have seen the results from more than one person.
What you should do is go to a durmontologest and have them see what is wrong with your face. Eather that or you are not applying it right and you should try other things/kinds of makeup then if it still looks bad then go to the dermontologest and see what they say there.
Girls, please look at the ingredients on Pro-Activ. You will find ';sulphur'; listed.
Sulfur or sulphur (IPA: /藞s蕦lf蓹(晒)/, see spelling below) is the chemical element that has the symbol S and atomic number 16. It is an abundant, tasteless, odorless, multivalent non-metal. Sulfur, in its native form, is a yellow crystalline solid. In nature, it can be found as the pure element or as sulfide and sulfate minerals. It is an essential element for life and is found in two amino acids, cysteine and methionine. Its commercial uses are primarily in fertilizers, but it is also widely used in gunpowder, matches, insecticides and fungicides.';
Used in matches and insecticides...uh and you want THAT on your face? Use something more natural and just be diligent about keeping your face clean (never go to sleep with make-up on). Drink lots of water and avoid ';junk food';. Avoid taking too hot showers or washing your face with hot water (makes pores larger, use lukewarm water).
Arbonne's Clear Advantage skin care set ($66) comes with a supplement that begins to heal skin from within. The botanically based formula contains peppermint which is very refreshing and helps to tighten pores. http://www.arbonne.com/products/beyond_b鈥?/a>
A good scrub and or masque once or twice a week can work wonders: http://www.arbonne.com/products/anti-agi鈥?/a>
Also, look for what is beautiful about yourself and accentuate that! Smile! That always makes your face prettier!
Make sure to choose a blush and lip color from the same color family (looks more natural). A good natural blush in a neutral shade is Arbonnes' Glow http://www.arbonne.com/products/about_fa鈥?/a>

Hello,
Acne treatment is aimed at keeping oil and dirt out of the pores and reducing inflammation. By simply popping and squeezing pimples yourself, you run the risk of lifelong scarring. Treatment of acne involves a step-by-step approach, beginning with milder medications and continuing through a spectrum of stronger medications until the patient finds one that works.
In mild and moderate cases, your doctor will begin with topical gels, creams, or lotions, progressing to internal medications. Some of these medications can produce side-effects, so it is important to put questions to your doctor and read the medication labels carefully.
Hormone-based treatments may help to clear up acne by inhibiting sebaceous gland function. It may take upto 6-8 weeks to see the results of any given treatment, and it is not uncommon for acne to worsen before it gets better. Redness, swelling in the skin, and changes in skin pigment, especially the darkening of skin in darker skinned individuals, may take many months to resolve, persisting long after pimples go away.
It is important to stick with the treatment regimen between appointments so your doctor can figure out what works or doesn't work for you. The regimen for curing acne is generally well established, if not entirely predictable. By taking consistent action and visiting your physician, you can quickly get on the road to healthier skin.
Homemade Acne Treatment
Washing the face a couple of times a day helps but for added cleanliness try a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol before bed. Not only does alcohol help dry the skin of oil but it also kills bacteria-causing germs. And since bacteria is at the heart of acne and blemishes it's important to keep skin free of it's dangers.
Using alcohol more frequently than once daily can cause skin to peel or become irritated. Alcohol is especially helpful when the effects of a pimple are first being felt. Often, the skin around the area of a pimple-to-be can begin to sting or feel sore when rubbed. Upon first noticing this condition douse the area (and only this area) with alcohol three times daily.
Those who have really oily skin have particular complexion problems which often result in blackheads. Oatmeal is one way to treat oily skin and it's inexpensive. Oatmeal is very dry and absorbs oil from the skin. Make a thick paste from oatmeal and water then apply to the face in the morning and evening. Allow the paste to stay on face for 10 to 20 minutes before rinsing with cool water.
Another effective facial mask for those with oily skin is made from honey and apples. After grating the apple into a fine pulp mix in four tablespoons of honey and apply to face for ten minutes. Or beat an egg white until stiff and add a few drops of witch hazel and a few drops of lemon juice. Spread the mixture over the face and leave for fifteen minutes. Rinse well with barely warm water.
Tomatoes work wonders for oily skin as well. After mashing a ripe tomato drain the juice on paper towels for a few minutes. Now take the tomato pieces and pat them onto the face, while lying back, and leave for fifteen to twenty minutes. Rinse with warm water. Do this treatment once daily, preferably in the morning.

Makeup help!!?
i have a question, i have natural dark circles under my eyes and i apply soo much coverup under my eyes and it looks bad, any ideas that could help, like do you know of any CHEEP makeup that could help?? pleasee help!!Makeup help!!?
Before covering up the dark circles, consider taking action beforehand:
*Apply a cold compress under the eyes when you wake up in the morning. Try freezing a metal spoon in the fridge the night before for a cheap alternative.
*Apply a dab of eye cream to moisturize and decrease the appearance of undereye circles. Also, this will give your concealer a base to hold on to and go on more smoothly.
*Using a yellow-tinted concealer (try Physicians Formula Yellow Magic Cub Concealer $6) dab a tiny bit on your ring finger and dot the cream from the inner corners of your eyes to the outer. When blending, do not use a tough rubbing motion, but a ';dabbing'; motion to completely conceal.
*After you have finished concealing, apply a bit of pressed powder to finish off the area.
***Because dark circles can signal a lack of sleep, nutrition, and be caused by genetics, do your best to balance your diet, rest, and execise to acheive optimal results.Makeup help!!?
Dark circles run in my family, so I understand. I have tried so many undereye concealers, and I have found that Physicians Formula is the best by far - out of drugstore %26amp; department store makeup. I think this is because they have the concealer in colors that match your natural undertones (like yellow) so it blends in well, and you can never tell your wearing any. It's around $7-8 dollars, but since you only use a tiny dot everyday, it lasts forever. You can find Physicians Formula at any drugstore or Wal-Mart.
i have bags under my eyes due to lack of sleep use any foundation i like mayebelline dream matte mouse apply usually then add add 3/4 spots of http://avonshop.co.uk/avonshop/default.a鈥?/a> wipe into desired place then put a bit more foundation over the top gud look x
There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.
http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2006/11鈥?/a>
If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off. Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

i am 12 and i wear mascara and lip gloss sometimes. should i start wearing makeup? i've thought about eyeliner but i don't know if its gonna make me look too old for my age.Makeup help?
I think that as long as you use subtle makeup, browns and neutrals (not blacks!) then you should be OK. But please, if you want to still be pretty when you are older, don't start using heavy foundations on your skin until you are older. The less you put on your face now, the healthier it will be later on. Have fun and make sure mom approves first!Makeup help?
makeup is overrated at your age. you should stay natural until maybe high school. people will be wowed knowing you've changed alot and look mature and ready for the high school life. using makeup at your age looks a bit sluty. sorry.
yes, as long it's not scaring anyone
yes. if you want to.
i think you to young i think you should wait till you older like 15 because right know it you were make up it to much on your skein and it may cause you to have pimples....trust me i know...
i wouldnt.
maybe you can wear concealer on troublesome spots. but i wouldnt wear anymore make-up.
i didnt start wearing eyeliner until 8th grade.
but if you talk to your parents you can decide on what you can wear. : )
In my opinion twelve is far too young. At your age I was wearing just fun flavoured glosses and that's it. Enjoy being a kid - you'll be a teen soon enough!!!
yes if you want to, but be sure to use the right colors and amounts, too much make up does not look good, and if you wear too much make up when you get older it will ruin your face because its blocking your pores (if your using cover up). so just light make up is fine, but dont over do it!
good luck
I think mascara and lip gloss are perfect for you now. Maybe some eye liner when you're at least 14. And not crazy dark like Avril Levigne. YUK!

Makeup help?!!?
Hi, I need help finding a good concealer/cover up or foundation for my face. I'm particularly interested in Almay or Neutrougena because i've heard so many good things about them. I have tried Bare Es. and I loved it, but I would like to know if there is any concealer or foundation out there (a bit less expensive) that can stay on my face as if natural (not fake looking) and I don't have to worry about it melting (clumping) off my face!
Please help!
thank you : )Makeup help?!!?
Yeah I use Neutrogena, the one that HELPS my acne. It's great, by the end of the day I don't have any acne.Makeup help?!!?
If you exfoliate and put on moisturizer, like Oil of Olay, THEN use a concealer it should not clump or flake off. Sometimes it's more about prep work so that the application works at max potential.
I like to use American Beauty from Kohl's. It has a little more coverage than Bare Es., but if you use the Bare Es. Brush, its goes on not as heavy. I really like it.
I think MAC is definitely a good choice, its what i use. you may even be able to get a free sample of concealer if you just o to this site: http://shrunk.us/19 . just put in your zip code to see if the samples are available in your area.
Chanel foundation is great, it is light weight and natural looking (as long as you get color matched). Although it maybe the same or a bit more in cost than the Bare E.
[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[鈥?just wanted to add design to it it seems to be a face!!!!!!!!!!!!
I use Revlon Colorstay Active (Lite) and concealer everyday. and I set it by dusting colorstay powder. I have combination skin which is very sensitive and which clogs easily with anything. This foundation has been very very nice to my skin. No adverse effects at all. It gives you light to medium coverage. Looks and feels like you have no makeup on. I have not tried the other colorstay versions so I don't know about those. But this one is worth trying. Be sure to MOISTURIZE your face atleast 10-15 min. before you apply it. It makes a lot of difference. Otherwise it is a little tricky to blend. Apply it on one area at a time so it will be easier to blend. If you get the technique, it is wonderful. It stays put in humidity, hot weather. Read the reviwes on www.makeupalley.com
If there is a Sephora near you, I would say go there. The aesthetics specialists there can show you exactly what will work for you and narrow it down to things in your price range. They will show you how to apply everything and show you what you will look like under different lighting.
Hey! I really like Cover Girl concealer...it's cheap and it and effective. For foundation, I recommend Cover Girl True Blend...it looks natural since it really blends in well. It wont look fake and if you want it not to melt, just finish it all up with translucent loose powder (Cover Girl Professional powder is really good). Good luck with it all!
Oh and since we're on the makeup topic, if you want awesome lashes, Panoramic Curl by L'or茅al is AMAZING.
Hope I helped :D

round blue eyes- eyeliner on the inside looks bad
long black eyelashes
pale skin
brown hair
WHAT MAKEUP SHOULD I WEAR?Makeup help bby?
Brown eyeshadow, Powder liner above the top lashes.Makeup help bby?
ok well first, do you want dramatic eyes or lips?
if you want dramatic eyes-
first use a black pencil liner to line the bottom outer corners of your eyes then take a shimmery grey/black eyeshadow and make a thin line of that on your eyelid right where the eyelashes start. then apply 2 coats of black mascarra finish the look with a pale or clear lip gloss (dont do dramatic eyes with bright lips like red or something, you'll look like a clown!)
if you want a summery look and dramatic lips-
line your eyes with a brown pencil liner then dust a light shimmery powder eyeshadow over your eyelids, go for a peach or off white or pink color, then wear a shade of lip stick that matches you lips (make it match is best you can) and then take a shimmery gloss and draw a upside down T in the middle of your bottom lip- this makes them sooo plump-looking!
thats all and good luck! if you have anymore makeup or beauty ?'s email me
omg! you sound just like meeee! I have blue eyes and brown hair too!!!! ok so I use Brown Mascara or Black in your case and then I use a light brown/copper eye shadow. I try to stay away from eye liner if I can help it.
i wouldn't wear that much make-up. Looking natural makes you look great and healthy. A little blush on the cheeks looks good too.
i have blue eyes and light brown hair.. i wear cover up under the eyes because i have dark circles and i wear light pink eyes shadow usually and mascara..chi hair
long black eyelashes
pale skin

Trying to find makeup that will help my acne!?
I don't have bad acne but don't want to get it worse... can anyone recommend and foundation (liquid and/or power)... thanks!Trying to find makeup that will help my acne!?
Everyday Minerals is by far the best makeup that I have used. It's like Bare Minerals but a lot less expensive and it doesn't have the extra ingredients (oxy bismuth) that can irritate skin and cause acne.
You can get a free sample kit at www.everydayminerals.com. You will find it under the custom kits tab. You just have to pay shipping (just over $3.00 in the US). It comes with 3 foundations, 1 blush or bronzer, and a concealer. The samples last much longer than the site says. Mine lasted well over two weeks and I used it daily.
My favorite product that they have is the Silk Dust. It has antibacterial properties and helps heal the skin. I use it under and over my makeup. It helps control oil and my face looks just as good in the evening as it did when I first put it on.
My acne wasn't bad - but my skin has dramatically improved since switching to this makeup. I almost never get any blemishes now.Trying to find makeup that will help my acne!?
Neutrogena. They have the best cover-up makeup, and they also have a makeup line to cover up acne with medication mixed in it. Also Clinique has very, very good face makeup as well. I used to have the same problem with my skin then I changed from cheap makeup to something better and it actually helped my face clear up.
No make-up helps acne!
But if u still wanna use some you can yry Clarins Oil-Free Multi-Matte Foundation or Clinique Clarifying Makeup Clear Skin Formula with astringents and pore-clearing salicylic acid.
Good Luck.
Try using Almay make-up products...they have one especially for acne...it contains medication to help heal acne while ur wearing it...its called Almay Clear Complexion...its awesome...works for me...concealer, foundation, and powder...i believe they also have it in loose powder if thats what u prefer...but its affordable...and it works...i get it at wal-mart...try it!
Try useing maybaleen new yorks pure makeup its 50% water so it wont clog pores. Also try NYC makeup line they are so cheap that you will be suprised.
If you live near or have access to a health foods store, buy your foundation there. Most health food markets will have a make up department. Their foundation uses ';natural'; ingredients that tend to be better for the skin! The foundation will probably not remove the acne that you have, but it could prevent more out breaks of acnce.
Hope that helps!
dont sleep on your face or your side, seriously
I agree the best way to keep your acne consistent if not heal is to be patient. Don't use coverup, I know it's tempting and all but ive tried it in the past and had bad results because of clogged pores. Almost ALL liquid foundation will claim ';won't clog your pores'; but if you think about it.. HOW can it NOT clog your pores when you are smearing over a heftful of makeup on your skin. It's just common sense.. don't believe everything the label tells you. First treat your acne, keep your skin nice and polished, use oil blotters if necessary.. and last but not least.. stay away from cover-up!
Mineral makeup is the only way to go. It covers great and treats your skin well. I use Monave mineral makeup. They make a concealer powder that offers more coverage than any other mineral makeup I've tried, and their loose mineral foundation has a lovely feel and isn't shiny or irridescent like some others (Bare MInerals!) are. I'm a total addict. And my friend who keeps track of my makeup usage remarks all the time about how great and clear my skin looks since I've been using it. I don't know if it's all to do with the mineral makeup, but either way I love it, so I wouldn't ever switch back.
You can check out Monave here:
http://www.monave.com
They have sample kits for $10 with 4 colors of the loose mineral foundation, and they send you tryouts of eye and face colors whenever you order. The sample kits may not be free, but they're an amazing bargain at $10. So much so that I still get sample kits to get a broad variety of shades. They last months! But even the full-size mineral foundations are a great deal there. The only thing I have to say is don't get the setting powder. It's really awful. I still use Bare Minerals Mineral Veil for that.
I use Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and I haven't had any acne since. It has no oil in it and stays on all day. Feels like your wearing nothing but covers anything. It has to be applied with a damp sponge. Also if you touch your hair a lot and touch your face it makes your acne worse. Wash hands often and keep them off your hair and face. I also use a nail brush every day and keep my nails clean and free from dirt. Every foundation I have ever tried has made me break out except for this one. My skin is extremely sensitive.
Dont use any. It WILL clog your pores.
have you seen the commercials!? proactive!!
bare minerals / essentuals! It doesn't clog up your pores, it feels and looks natural and won't look all cakey!! I use it and its great, and my skin type is similiar to yours too =]

Makeup help?
I feel so embarrsed to ask but here i go. I am in 8th grade/ I never wear makeup except mascara, lip gloss, and eye shadow and thats it. I have bronze skin. Can someone help me with the other stuff and how and when i should wear it?Makeup help?
I'm not brilliant with makeup, although I do wear some, usually foundation and some blusher. You can try foundation, think you can wear that anytime really. Go for the foundation that is the nearest to your skin colour. You can have ago with the testers see which looks right. When you apply it spread it evenly and thinly on your face. Also some blush can look nice, not sure what colour would suit you, just try different ones see what looks the best. Also you can get varies face powders.Makeup help?
you could try eyeliner and blush..the blush is self exp. take ur brush and the blush..and put it on ur cheekss %26amp;%26amp; ur good..and for eyeliner you can put it on thebottom lid and top lid [[top lid only if u wish.. otherwise just the bottom]]
hope this helps
best of luck. my wishes to you.
First off do not be embarrassed. For your age you are wearing just the right amount of makeup. Why would you want to wear anymore? You are much too young to make yourself look older...you will have many many years to spend trying to cover up what you have so just enjoy your natural beauty now!
Eyeliner always changes your look. You can make it subtle or drastic. For subtle eyeliner you can line your eyes in white. This will really brighten them. For the more dramatic look line them in black. I like liquid eyeliner. You can correct mistakes better when you use liquid. Just sweep a qtip underneath the liner to make a straight line. Email me if you have any other questions.
Try wearin some blush? You can where Lipstick, but make sure it matches your face ok?Or maybe try eyeliner.Since you have bronze skin,so i'm guessing you want to be lighter?Where Blush to cover spots that show,or just wear lighter make up.
You should use very light foundation! it looks real good on your tyype of skin and it will make u look sexy hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe a little blusher - don't go overboard with the makeup, less is more!!!
The best makeup brand is smashbox. I suggest the caviar cream eyeliner and the best lip gloss is Victoria Secret Beauty Rush! I suggest going to Ulta and having a makeup artist help you and guide you through the steps!!!!!!!
You could try Bare Essecntuals... a REALLY great product. It's a powder made of pure minerals, and applies so light you don't feel it on your skin. It is also almost impossible to put on too much. The cost isn't bad (a small tub of shadow costs about $13), and lasts for months. The foundation is about the most expensive thing. You can find the starter set in the Bare Escentuals infomercial, or (this is where I shop) on QVC. You can often find them in great packages there; I bought a kit with 13 pieces (about 9 shadows, the foundation, and a ton of brushes) for $59...but that's been discontinued. They did introduce their new sets for 2007. Check out QVC online and the Bare Escentuals website. While you're there, set up a reminder to be e-mailed to let you know when Bare Escentuals will be on. Hope this helps!
You could try waering concealer, as youre a teenager you might be starting to get a few spots. Or maybie a tan blush to go with your skin tone. But make sure you don't go over the top!
hi cute gir i am vinod from india .i think hat you should look nice do spoil your skin by using harsh chemicals try some natural products like turmeric etc; if you would like to use those chemical products then use it for some special occasions. ok then bye contact me for any assistance.
if your skin is in good condition, don't wear foundation- thats for oldies like me. Maybe a little blusher, to shape your face and give it a lift.
Shaping your eyebrows is important, not too thick or too thin, and honestly a big smile on your face and a willingness to join in and have fun . Forget the make up and let you shine through
ALWAYS REMEMBER :
Lighter the better.
Do not wear alot.
Try a dark brown. Do alittle bit wear your bottom eye lashes are, but brown eyeshadow with it. %26amp; massacra, but make sure you get an eyelash curler, and you will be the hottest in the 8th grade. :))
thats all you need!! keep your beauty routine simple while you can girl! but if you feel like you need more makeup try something fun that you can pull of with your age and bronze skin..like fun colored liner and mascara. and peachy-pink blushes look amazing on bronzed skin. check out your local mac counter for funky colors, or go to maccosmetics.com
you don't need any more than that!!!
Go to a department store with a makeup counter-like CLinique. They will do your makeup for free and tell you how to use it.
it depends on your face structure becuase if you have high cheeks then you should wear some blush. and i recomend a foundation for the spots on your face that you dont like. but dont put it all over just on pimples becuase your skin cant breathe with foundation on so its not good to wesr it all the time. i would say if you have zits then wear foundation everyday btu if you dont then just wear it on special occations. you have bronze skin and thats a very beautyful color so use dark eye shadow and maybe even try on some black eyeliner!
Try eyeliner i love it and you can try it in different colours so you don't get bored.

I don't know if it's all to do with the mineral makeup, but either way I love it, so I wouldn't ever switch back.

oh yeah i would also like tonssssss of tips and what have you....mainly on applicationMakeup Help....this is somewhat urgent
No, you don't NEED to wear make up. But it's fun, so try some mascara on your top lashed and perhaps a black eyeliner on the bottom? You could also try your bottom lashes with mascara, but you're going to have to experiment with that.
As far as application goes, ';comb'; your lashed with the mascara applicator and make them wave out like a fan. Make sure that, if you apply more than one layer, you do it shortly after each layer, it prevents clumping.
Makeup Help....this is somewhat urgent
on you i suggest liquid black eyeliner, a little past your outsides of the eye.
black mascara,
do 1 layer let it dry. repeat 3 times.
do a bronze color for blush,
and a hot pink lip gloss!!

Makeup help-foundation?
whenever i put on my foundation i put it on evenly but around my mouth it doesn't seem to like stick. like it always looks like i have missed random parts of my face bc they just stay whiter and dont i don't know how to explain but help lolMakeup help-foundation?
A couple of things:
Try a primer, like PhotoFinish from Smashbox. It evens out the surface of your skin and provides your foundation with some grip.
Combine your foundation with a slightly shimmery cream - again, Smashbox makes a great cream called Photo Op. It can also be used as a highlighter around the eyes, on cheekbones, wherever.
Use a foundation brush or sponge.
Set it all with a light, loose powder. If you can find it in your area, Serge Lutens Banane is perfect for nearly every complexion and lasts all day.Makeup help-foundation?
do 2 things before putting on your foundation:
1) moisturize all over face
2) then apply a powder all over face
the moisturizer will help the powder stick and the powder will help the foundation stay in place!
make sure the powder isn't to thick and a shade lighter than your foundation!
hope this helps!
xx xx
Also, the color your using might be too dark. Sometimes we want to pick a darker shade to look more tan, but you really should find a foundation that is very close to your natural skin color.
Try mixing the foundation with your moisturizer (after you already have a layer of moisturizer on first, of course).
This will help spead the foundation better and not make it so thick, looks more natural, and should speading nicely around your mouth
Good luck
Try puritycosmetics,co,uk. It is really good!
Hmm
Try moisturizing before putting on your foundation
You could use a foundation brush to apply too and
don't get offended but maybe you have a moustache so if thats the case then wax or bleach!

Makeup help...EXPERTS?!?
Hey! I wear makeup, but I want a more teenage look and stop buying from the drugstore! I want to shop at MAC and SEPHORA! I have problem zits around my chin and mouth....help? I need a liter, less noticeable look..and then a heavier nite time look..money isnt an object! Thanks!Makeup help...EXPERTS?!?
Try coastalscents.com I know the heavy colors around the eye is really in right now. You might be allergic to the foundations at the drugstore. Try pro active or at Wal-Mart they have two products that are compatible. Also wash your face three times a day and add a moisturizer. great makeup comes with good skin care, make sure you wash your pillow cases as well. Also try mineral make up its really light and also really in right now try Bare Minerals the have it at all the make up store but for sure at ULTA.COMMakeup help...EXPERTS?!?
Mac products are meant to be noticed so if you want a more subtle look there will not be as much to choose from in the MAC range than if you were looking for something more striking.
I love MAC with a passion but I admit that it is heavy duty makeup- why do you think they use it so often in fashion and all the famous drag queens wear it!
Anyway if you use the MAC stuff stay away from pigments as the colour is really vivid, mineral foundations and powders and stuff is great as it does have a more natural look to it and it will not make your zits worse cause mineral makeup is free from chemicals and talc that is in the other foundations that can be bad for skin breakouts.
Depending on your colourings eg hair and skin you can go for soft glam colours like the honey lust in the eye shadow or retrospeck,- these are goldy tones that suit most people and have a bit of shimmer- also viva glam number 5 for lipstick is pretty subtle- soft dusty pink is the only way i can think to describe it.
If money is no object I also recommend the following...
Chanel Inimitable mascara
Estee Lauder Individualist Natural Finish Makeup
Dior eye shadows
Lancome colour fever lip gloss
xx
Check out macs mineral products. The pressed powder covers really well and is good on your skin. Also if you have alot of zits its time to get a good face wash. Go to the sephora store and ask them, they should be able to tell you by looking at your skin the best possible face wash. Foundation isnt suppose to cover your whole face and looked caked on, its suppose to just give your skin and even skin tone.
alright, i LOVE sephora, i practically fricking live there!
make up forever makes a great full coverage foundation that I use. its not cakey or anything and looks pretty good on! i set that with powder and then use lip color from mac. its like a nudish color, forget the name, i could look it up if you want, then a little bronzing powder from MAC. its natural but still cute!
%26amp; if you want to add a flirty touch try some brighter pinky lipcolor and blush! hope i helped!
you want to look like a teenager? don't wear any. see what happens. and what is wrong with drugstore makeup? you rich or something? and yes money is an object.chi hair

Always curl lashes before applying mascara. You can actually curl lashes AFTER mascara is applied, as long as your mascara is dried (a good tip to know if you want to curl your lashes later in the day without removing your mascara).
Don't forget your bottom lashes. For years I avoided mascara on them until a makeup expert showed me how much mascara on my lower lashes really make my eyes pop. I rarely go without now. To apply mascara on lower lashes, hold the brush vertically, then sweep it back and forth.
Individual false lashes are exotic, gorgeous and can look natural if applied correctly. Large cities offer ';lash bars'; in the hottest department stores. If they're too long, you can trim them with scissors.
For a doe-eyed, seductive look lining your lower lids with a creamy white eye pencil.
White liner may sound odd, but it really opens up the eye. You can also try putting it on the inside corner of both your upper and your lower lids.
Another way to open up eyes is to skip the white eyeliner and opt instead for a platinum highlighter. Dot along the browbone, then blend in. Apply highlighter at the inner corners of your eyes. Follow with eye shadow.
Make sure your brows are manicured. Until you get your brows professionally waxed, tweezed or threaded, you won't realize how much they affect the rest of your face. Cleaning up your brow line of stray hairs, adding a slight arch and filling in sparse spots are key to making eyes look much larger.
I find once you get a professional brow job, you can do it yourself for a few months using the pro job as a ';map'; of where to tweeze. To keep brows in place, try a clear eyebrow gel, clear mascara or just spritz a bit of hairspray onto an old toothbrush and brush brows in perfect place.

If you are Asian and have small eyes like me, you probably have tried different methods to make your eyes look larger. What makes it more of a reason to do so is if you also have single eyelids. This is because most Asians have more of a fatty deposit in the area between their eyebrows and their eyelids. I have found that there a few different tricks you can do to create a look that will make your eyes appear more large and dramatic.
First, line your eyes with a waterproof or long lasting eyeliner preferably in black, which creates a more dramatic look. You will want to line the rims of your eyes (the inside portion of eye above the bottom lashes and the portion of the eye below the top lashes). You could either use an eye pencil or a liquid eyeliner. I have found that with a liquid eyeliner it is easier to line the top portion of the inner rim of your eye, but can be more difficult when lining the portion above your top lashes and the inner rim portion of your bottom lashes unless you have continuous practice and maintain a steady hand. An eye pencil is much easier to use, but may not be as bold as liquid eyeliner if you are looking for a more dramatic look.
Next, use a lengthening and volumizing mascara in the darkest color available and apply as many coats necessary or desired to create a more dramatic look. I have noticed that if you have sparse lashes there really is no need to apply mascara on your bottom lashes since there are so few anyway and the eyeliner will have already filled in the effect. Also, I noticed that if you let your lashes dry in between every few coats, the dramatic look will build more quickly and effectively instead of piling one coat after another continuously and you end up having those awful ';spider leg'; looking lashes.

you should deffinately try AVON products. they have good quality. you may even have someone local to you that works for avon and sells avon, you could always meet up with them and become a customer to where they bring you a booklet of the stuff they sell and if you purchase something they order it for you and deliver it to your house. otherwise, you could go to the avon in the mall or the website :)
i hope this helped%26lt;3

I would really suggest Cover Girl. They have black, purple, navy blue and all the colors you can think of eyeliner.
Other places to get eyeliner, I would really suggest going to Macy*s for, they have several brands and not bad prices. They also have other make-up, too.

Wet%26amp;Wild and N.Y.C. have cheap eyeliners for like 99 cents each, if you're looking to experiment. They're pretty good quality and work well. If you're looking for something that may last a little bit longer, I'd try a covergirl or Maybelline brand. Hope I helped!

How can i change my eye shape with makeup?? pls help :)?
i have really round eyes with a slight curve at the end....and i always wear a blk thin line if blk eyeliner on top....but i really want a change....does anyone know of any tricks i can do to help my eyes appear less rounded ....any tips or suggestions would be great!! thanks =)How can i change my eye shape with makeup?? pls help :)?
i wish i was there to tell you i would make your eyes look so sexy i am going to try to explained to you with words go out and bye your self an gel eye liner it works with pencil to but this gel eye liner it comes with a brush its perfect for eye liner.Start in the middle of the eye as close as you can to the eye lashes and take it out and just fill in do not make it to thick and not to long after that get a pencil a on the top of the eye from under fill it with black the all eye i hope you under stand if you have any question fill free to e-mail meHow can i change my eye shape with makeup?? pls help :)?
I have the same problem. I use a thin line of liquid liner and extend it to the corner and downward to make my eyes look like half moons. It works!
I would say you have 2 main options:
1)I know you wanted a change, but Liquid eyeliner is a lifesaver in this case (maybe you need to change the way you currently apply it?)-if you draw a straight line on your top lid and extend it just over the end of your eyelid curving up at the end- it will create the exact illusion you want of less rounded eyes. Then draw a thin, more blended line on the bottom that nearly joins the top line. If you don't like the harshness of liquid eyeliner, blend it in with a cotton bud and it will be less defined. (but dont smear the end as it will just make it look like a mess, and will defeat the purpose of doing this in the 1st place)
2)Eyeshadow-get a palette eyeshadow with 2 or 3 colours (brown and natural colours are best if you dont normally wear eyeshadow or want a more natural look) Apply a reasonably dark eyeshadow to the outer corner of your lids and blend in with a lighter, preferably shimmery colour on the inner corner. Also use a smoky pencil liner to define it more. This will create a more defined and sharper, less rounded look.
Hope this helps!
cat eyes! use a dark collr eye liner, line your bottom lid and lightly to the top. then extend the liner a bit out and up. it makes the eye look longer/smaller.

i need help for 2 things
1. i'm going out to lunch and i'm waering cream lace flats, jeans with pink an gold on them, a brown top with pink and tan on it, and pink shrug and purse.
2. i'm going to florida, what should i bring.I need makeup help?
Minimal makeup for the lunch date. And I live here in Florida and the humidity usually melts makeup right off. I use Mineral Makeup for foundation and powder eyeliner to keep it from smudging all over. Have fun in our state!I need makeup help?
Virtual Makeover. It's free, super easy and fun. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click http://marykay.com/mgunther2
ok for part one of you question: i would not where pink make up that will look like youre trying to hard to match everything. I would go for the effortless natural look. some powder, then take a nude shade of eye shadow or the sofftest white pencil you can find and line just under your bottom lashes and in the inner corner of your eye. this will brighten your eyes and make you look awake you will not believe what a difference this makes. then take some champagne colored eye shadow with the slightest shimmery tone and brush it all over your lids from lids to brow bone. this will hightlight and make your eyes look wider. then take a soft brown matte or shimmery eyeshadow and apply just to the eye lids and into the crease. take med. to dark brown eye liner and apply a very thin line as close to the top eye lashes as you can get and smudge it in with a q-tip. this will give demention and make your eyelashes appear thicker. curl your eye lashes and finish with black or brown black mascara on top and bottom lashes. i would use a cream or mousse blush with this look in a light pink or peaches and cream color to give a dewy fresh face look. you will look very natural fresh and pretty. for your hair i would do some soft waves or curls and where it down or half up this will give you a natural and romantic look.
Ok for florida i would not where a lot of make up. but carry around with you powder and shine blotters so your skin looks fresh and not greasy from the humidity. definately use waterproof mascara or you could have it running all over the place. you shouldn't need blush since the heat will give you a naturally flushed look. i would suggest wearing your hair up in a messy bun. don't forget protective lip balm, sun screen, and sun glasses. Moistureizer works wonders to.

Never wear makeup HELP!!.. foundation or powder!!?
I've never worn like serious makeup.. only lipgloss and some eye mascara the most... and its not that i hav good skin b/c i have some blemishes and stuff.. im 16 so i want to decide whether i should use liquid foundation or powder...my deciding factor will be onwhich ONE IS BETTER AND HEALTHIER ON SKIN... not to much on concealing.. JUST WANNA KNOW WHICH KIND/ONE IS HEALTHIER TO USE...
.. PROS AND CONS ON BOTH...I WUD REALLY APPRECIATE IT!Never wear makeup HELP!!.. foundation or powder!!?
Most liquid foundations are packed full of fatty oils. They clog your pores and cause breakouts (even the acne treatment foundations) They leave your skin looking dull after a few hours.
Check out Bare Minerals. I have tried everything under the sun... I even sold Mary Kay cosmetics for a short time.
Bare Minerals leaves my skin with a healthy glow all day. It doesn't wear off or melt off when I sweat. I was very skeptical at first. I didn't think a makeup regime of only powder could do the job of hiding my sever adult acne and freakles. But it does! It even improved my skin! And its talc free (most powders have talc) so I don't have to worry about it highlighting my worry lines on my forehead!
You can buy the starter kit online for about $40. It has everything you could possible need (even brushes!) My starter kit lasted me about 5 months.
You should check it out!Never wear makeup HELP!!.. foundation or powder!!?
For your skin powder is better...
1. moisturizer
2. base
3. concealer on dark areas
4. powder foundation (I mean apply water to the sponge of the powder before applying the powder)
5. another really soft powder (applied without water)
ok well first of all it depends on your skin.If you have pretty bad acne/blemishes/scarring you would probably want to use a liquid foundation, then i would suggest using a loose powder over that.like:
http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>
i know thats expensive but it is so worth it.But if you cant afford something like that then you could always find great products at a drugstore.
If your skin is ok and you just want to cover a few blemishes here and there then i would suggest powder.Well use a concealer first to cover up those spots and then put a powder over it to ';set'; it,and give you a bit more coverage.loose powder will give you a more sheer, light, natural effect, whereas pressed powder will give you a more ';made up'; look. But it all really depends on how much you apply.
But there are also more options then just powder and liquid foundation.you could always go for a powder foundation, like http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>
once again,i know this is expensive but it is worth it!i have this one and it is fantastic!you could also find powder foundations at a drugstore.Another option is a tinted mousterizer for if you just need sheer coverage. This choice is great for those days you just dont want a lot of makeup on or if you have good skin.Another option would be mineral makeup which is in a loose powder form but acts as a foundation. Some people swear by mineral makeup.I tried bare minerals once, but was not that impressed. But it never hurts to go to sephora or ulta and try it!! It does give good coverage and feels like you are not wearing makeup. Some people do complain though that the mineral makeup does make thier face itch when they sweat.
heres a link for mineral makeup
http://www.bareminerals.com/
as far as which one is ';healthier to use'; out of all of thm the mineral foundation is the ';healthiest';.it only uses pure natural minerals and does not clog pores. As far as liquid foundation sometimes that will have the tendancy to break people out. Powder alone wont do any damage but make sure to always wash your face after wearing makeup , so that way the makeup does not clog your pores.
sorry i wrote so much but just trying to help you out!makeup can be a lot of fun! so good luck.
if you want your skin to be healthier using makeup..
use bare minerals mineral makeup.

I prefer powder, but foundation stays on longer.
I am not a makeup pro I'm afraid, but I will offer you some personal advice.
When I first started to wear foundation, I found it really had to choose which type, which colour, how to apply, how much to put on etc. So therfore, I would say go in to a local store and ask someone to help you - the assistants are usually really good and they can also give you some free samples on occasion, so its always worth your while and they can answer any questions you have.
As for your skin - you should always start your makeup routine with a cleansed and moisturised face which helps prevent break outs and helps the makeup stay on the skin better.
Also whatever you choose, make sure its the right shade. I say this for 2 reasons - 1 because I always used to get the colour wrong myself and not I have to cringe everytime I look at a photo of myself with an orange face, and secondly because the better the shade suits you, the less product you have to use so the less it clogs your pores etc.
Personally I use a liquid foundation because I have dry skin occasionally and it helps keep it moisturised. I also have fair skin so the SPF is higher and protects my skin that little but more.
If you want to use a liquid foundation I would also suggest that you find an oil free prouct - its usually marked on the lable and it won't cause breakouts in the same way as other products might.
In terms of pros and cons I find that powder gives me a lighter feel on the skin and doesn't give a 'caked on' look, but liquid foundation gives better coverage and a more 'airbrushed' look.
I think the most important thing is to try products out and see what works best with your skin type and colouring. Everyone will have a different preference so go with what gives you the best coverage and as for final advice...I would say that to spend a little bit extra on a product gives you a better quailty and very even coverage really makes the difference!
powder is better for the skin... id recommend basic covergirl pressed powder. it goes on evenly and matches to ur skin better. sometimes liquid foundation makes u look to fake and the color can b alll wrong. the liquid foundation will make blemishes worse. especially if u just keep adding blot after blot to try and keep them covered up! liquid clogs pores where powder really doesnt at all. powder! use powder and apply it with a brush.
Pros on powder its is better for oily skin and won't breakout as mush as foundation
Cons liquid foundation makes your face look older and tends tomake more wrinkly too and not healthy on skin
My personal favorite makeup for any age would be bare minerals this product looks great on your skin and does not look like your actually wearing it which is great and get lots of compliments!!! hope this helps!!!
Powder is better for the skin. Try to get one that very natural-
www.everydayminerals.com
I would say powder is healthier, because it's much easier to wash off completely, but then, the grains of the powder might get sucked into your pores. There are all types of liquid foundations out there for sensitive skin that help reduce blemishes and stuff. Personally, I use CoverGirl liquid foundation, it doesn't mess up my skin at all. I highly recommend it.
Don't use anything it clogs your pores and causes acne and it looks so fake and stupid I don't know why people wear it --- stick with simple stuff
foundation: covers up better, though it may cause break outs bcuz it cause in ur skin and its hard to wear it in summer
powder: easier to use, but does not cover up much
if u really want to cover up stuff then use foundation, though i would not suggest using it everyday..and use powder in summer so it doesnt melt
Since you do have blemishes I recommend Neutrogena's skin clearing liquid foundation.
I would prefer liquid foundation but i have heard of this stuff called bare minerals that supposedly works well but its a powder.
find a liquid/powder combo.....i like using Almay because they're hipo-alergenic....

Light Purple Dress, Blue eyes, makeup help!?
I have a light purple ball gown prom dress. I have fair skin with a pink undertone. Dark brown hair and grey/blue eyes.

I'd go with natural browns for the eyeshadows, in a smokey-esque form. But not entirely. I'd use a plum liner, with a dark brown mascara.Light Purple Dress, Blue eyes, makeup help!?
I think the dress is lovely!! I would go with a light peurple shadow on the lid, white on the brow bone, a purple on the crease and a really dark purple(plum colored)on the outer corner. Also use liquid eyeliner on the top lash line, nothing on the bottom, A mascara that makes your lashes longer, not thicker, i would advise lash stiletto by maybelline, some foundation and pressedpowder. To match your dreaa, paint your nails lavender, put light sparkles in your hair, some on your chest, and some on your cheek bone. Hope i helped!
thats areally cute dress by the way but i think you should put a smokey eye shown in the sources box below that explains how to do it. than go with a peachy plum lipstick to bring out your lovelyeyes and to soften up the eyeshadow.then use the darkest black gel eyeliner that you can get (gel eyeliner from bobby brown is the best) then touch it up with false lashes you can get at a drugstore then for extra add loreal double extend 2 step mascara ! the mascara really makes your lashes look full and long then add a touch of plum blush and your good to go! hope that helps!
I would defiantly go with browns...
Try a medium shade on the lid of your eye
A dark shade in the crease
and a sheer shimmer to sweep from your crease to your brows to add some extra definition.
(pretty dress by the way and your eye color is a amazing)chi hair

I need makeup help TODAY!!! PLEASE!!!?
I need some makeup help really fast. I'm italian and live in Florida and I'm leaving Friday to go to Italy for 2 weeks with my family here to meet some family who lives there. My sister and I are going to go tomorrow and get some makeup to take with us. We are twins and are both pale with dark brown hilighted hair and dark brown eyes. We need to know what color eye makeup and lip color we should use. We really want our eyes to pop. Please help!!I need makeup help TODAY!!! PLEASE!!!?
I'm 1/2 Italian, with very fair skin and dark hair and eyes. Here are some of my personal favorites:
Eyeshadows
- Pale pink
- Shimmery gold
- Plum
Since your eyes are dark, you want to play them up with a paler color. This will make your eyes appear larger, brighter, and more alert.
Blushes
- Pale pink
- Slight mauve (not too dark, or your face will look rather sallow)
Concealers
- If your skin is like mine, it probably has some yellow-y olive tones in it. Try playing this up with a yellow-based concealer in your matching skintone. I use CoverGirl ';Clean Makeup'; Oil Control concealer in ';creamy natural';. Since Italy will probably be rather hot and muggy, I think a liquid concealer is your best bet - powders might smudge.
Lip Gloss
- Again, pinks are a good bet
- Plums and Mauves
- Try going to http://www.covergirl.com/cgcollection/li鈥?/a> . Any of the ';neutrals'; should look good with your skintone, hair, and eye color.
Best of luck, and have a great time in Italy!
- LaurenI need makeup help TODAY!!! PLEASE!!!?
Outlining them with white eyeliner makes them pop. also a smoky look would suite you.
Use a somewhat contrasting color on the eveys like a shimmery green or a really pretty purple-pink. For lip gloss I would suggest a somewhat pink tinted shine!
Have fun in itally, i hope this helps!
u should try purples and greens for the eyeshadow because those r the best for brown eyes. dont go dark on the lips try pink-ish lip gloss =) hope that helps
I have the same coloring as you and these are my favorite shadows... All M.A.C!
Highlighter: Phloof, Jest, Rice Paper
Lid Color: Satin Taupe, Sable, Shale, Trax
Crease: Beauty Marked, Twinks, Sketch
Lips: Oyster Girl and Carmex
Hi If your pale with a slight olive tone, you may need the second from lightest color, make sure your able to try it, and you do not have a line at your chin. get foundation sponges (1-3 dollars). I have dark eyes and hair. I use all color eye shadows and liners, but have much experience using cosmetics, you can use a nuteral palete of browns, with brown liner, and black mascara, the second easiest color palate to work with are plums (dark purple's) that give colors, but are almost as easy to work with as browns. todays makeup, has a smudgy look, not a lot, but not sharp lines, so make sure eye shadows are blended, and liner is smudged in nicely with a cosmetic q-tip (2dollars). as far as blush, you can go lightly rosey. I like loreal, and lancome, estee lauder, max factor. I do not know your budget. Mac is good. If you have the time, go to a dept store, they will teach you to apply for free, you dont have to buy, but should, they do expect some kind of purchase as they work on commisson.
as far as lip shades, you can go with rosey dewy lip glosses, low gloss, or mauves, they work with all skin tones, and are good for those with little experience. no reds, until you know your makeup, and right shades. No pinks, ditto above. Keep lips simple, with a natural nutrual palate until you see someone, or are able to test colors.
also Sephora is a great store, but can be overwhelming for a cosmetic novice, but the help is great if you plan to spend some good money, they can be costly.
Go to http://www.myjellybean.com/ and take the quiz.(You'll find it after searching.)
Next, go to http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ Everything on that website is $1.00!
shades of slate blue, gray, and plum eyeshadow would look best with your eye color.
you should go to cvs pharmacy and you will find some make up for you and your sister and some lipsstick for your lips
you should us dark browncolors for ur eye liner and purples for ur eye shadow, i am the same way, dark brown hair abd eyes so these do make ur eyes pop, i suggest the almay line of beauty products, the have a eye color matching thing that shows what to buy with ur color of eyes,

*****okay alycia that was so mean and shut up shes probly prettier than you!******Hair and makeup help?
Well first your gonna need a mcfligger which usually costs around 250 bux. Your then gonna take a flonx and mix it with some boratified congence. Her make up is quite simple just get some cinammononon boxes and shizzle them down to where you really get the abstract essence of the panaramic lipple effect.
Hope I helped!
blowdry your hair upsidedown and then straighten. put on volume maxx mascara and lots of eyeliner.
you need to go to a professional and bring that picture. they will razor cut your hair to give you all that texture. then teasing it will look right. as far as the make up goes, grab some black eyeliner and cake on the mascara...also black eye shadow. MAC is my favorite make up brand.
ok; tot get this look you need :::::
layer cut. color the very first layer blonde and the rest black with purple highlights ( trustt me i had this hair ) lol.
And the make-up is fake long eye-lashes with hevy mascara on top a little bit on the bottom of your eyes and mascara.
here is a great tip. you are ugly so it wouldn't matter ugly ***
Okay, the makeup is really easy. It looks like she's just wearing some coverup and foundation and some eye makeup. For the eye makeup, just apply a thick black liner (liquid may work but pencil is fine) on your top lids and on the inside of your top lids and bottom lids, and on the rim of your bottom lids. Lots of mascara and fake eyelashes.
For the hair, it looks straightened, then using hairspray, she backcombed and teased the short layers near her roots.
GL! Hope I could help!

i am in love with this girls hair and make-up!

Makeup help.. please help me?
can u guys recommened a department store face powder.. i dont like loose powder so yeah but DEPARTMENT store not that drugstore crap!Makeup help.. please help me?
If you are buying it from a department store, try a sample at the makeup counter. That is what those counters are there for (and a major reason the makeup is so much more expensive).
Everyone's skin is different, so it is best if you try it on and get specific advise for your skin from the clerk.

Makeup Help! HELP!?
OK,
I have like, combination skin/very sensitive, and I want to start wearing makeup.
Can you recomend a concealer and foundation for me?
I'm bi-racial, I've got dark under-eye circles, roacea (or however you spell that reddness problem.), and uneven skin.
I've got alot of white and blackheads at the moment. (Because its ';That time of the month';. And stress.)
But they're going away.
I CAN'T use anything with sunscreen in it.
Thanks!
PS
Something that my parents wont go whacko over.
PPS
Something in my budget. (I cannot afford Bobbi Brown, Clinque, anything like that.)
Thanks!
Please nothing with SPF anything.
That, chlorine, and salisylic acid do my skin in!Makeup Help! HELP!?
I have used Physicians Formula Gentle Cover Concealer Stick under my eyes for a couple of years now with no problems. I'm pretty happy with it.
http://www.physiciansformula.com/Product鈥?/a>
I also use different brands of acne treatment concealer (for my chin and nose), blush, and powder, but these have salicylic acid; sorry.
Maybe you could try the other Physicians Formula products?
I try to go for the ';natural'; look too. I've had friends that didn't even think I was wearing makeup.
I think as long as you don't go really heavy on the blush or eyeliner, your parents should be OK with it.
As far as the whiteheads go, have you tried using Witch Hazel? I use it after I wash my face, and it seems to help.
Good luck! I hope you find something that your skin can tolerate. I know how hard it is to find a good makeup that you can stick with!Makeup Help! HELP!?

Makeup help.help please.?
well i have pimples, and i'm very self conscious and I was wondering what is the best kind of make up that covers them up really well.
and don't say: you shouldn't be wearing makeup.Makeup help.help please.?
i like bare minerals, it covers your ';imperfections'; and it looks like your wearing nothing. you should also try new face washes. i love rx systems products, they're kinda expensive but well worth the money.Makeup help.help please.?
i had this same problem, and now it is all cleaned up and it is way better! by wearing the make up it is going to do better to the pimples if you want that to go way
up to you, you will regret it later! good luck
A nice concealer seems to work. Avoid powder foundations, they just make it look more cakey and noticable. Go for a more liquid foundation. To cover with liquid use a soft make-up sponge and dab it on, don't rub.
You shouldn't be wearin' makeup. Just kidding yah kid. I'd say NYC coverstick (concealer) it's very cheap yet works GREAT! Promise!
Answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
buy some neutrogena concealor or foundation. then add some bronzer. bare minerals works really good.
The make up I use it MAC Studio Fix powder, check it out online. It works amazingly!

Plz makeup help help help!!!!!!?
well the thing is is that i want to start wearing a bit of foundation but how do i no which one is right for me because i get spots whenever i use it ?????Plz makeup help help help!!!!!!?
i want to know to.
o
HOW MUCH IS FOUNDATION????????Plz makeup help help help!!!!!!?
foundation is like $10 at cvs, and the best foundation is cvs foundation color blend mousse. SO FANTASTIC! and it even has tint.
Try Almay Smart Shade Makeup- Its great! it transforms into your ideal shade and it also has SPF 15! a lil bit expensive but totally worth it!!
Good Luck!
If it causes spots I would recommend a powder foundation. Make sure to wash it off really well at the end of the day, and only wear it on occasion. Personally I don't like foundation, I think it's excessive. I use a stick concealer on any spots or undereye circles, and it works fine for me. There are very few situations when I would consider using foundation all over my face. But definitely go for a powder, or one that drys as a powder. Only time I used foundation all over I used a powder, and I didn't get spots, but then I didn't use it everyday.
I would pick one that is hypoallergenic since it seems like you're allergic to the one you've been using. Almay and Neutrogena are pretty good for that. If you have oily skin, look for ones that are oil-free or non-clogging. If you have dry skin, look for ones that say nourishing or moisturizing. They usually have a creamy consistency. Loreal TrueMatch foundation has a huge selection of colors and you can compare your skin tone to a chart with all of its colors at the drugstore. Or if you don't mind paying a little extra, go to a department store or Sephora at the mall and ask for personal assistance.
If the spots you talked about weren't from irritation, then maybe you just need to blend it more with a sponge, finger, or brush.
For me i use a drugstore liquid foundation that you apply with a pad
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41鈥?/a>
it's Covergirl Aquasmooth
you might want to try an all natural mineral makeup. i know some companies have makeup and you make an appointment with them to have them match your color exactly and show you how to apply the makeup. I don't know what the name of the company is, but looking into that may help you too

Makeup Help! Please Help!?
Ok i am wondering how i should wear my makeup.
I have blonde-white eyelashes.
blonde hair.
blue eyes.
i am really fair skinned.
any ideas on how to wear makeup so I look good????
pleease help.Makeup Help! Please Help!?
omg! this is Just the question i waz looking for! i am a makeup expert, and so is a friend. together, we came up w/ an answer perfect for you
Here are some ways to do your makeup-
For a soft, natural look-
1. blush- very light, preferably light pink
lip gloss- icy pink, rosy pink
eyeshadow- light pink on the lid, darker in the crease, light below the brow, if you want, light below eye
mascara- none needed, but if you want, a little darker than eyelashes
For a natural, beachy look-
2. blush- very light brown, maybe light bronze
lip gloss- light brown to medium brown, or pink
eye shadow- light brown on lid, darker in crease, light below brow, if you want, light below eye
mascara- a little darker brown than eyelashes
For a party, bold look-
3. blush- very light red or dark pink
eye shadow- light red on lid, darker in crease, light below brow, if you want, light below eye
lip gloss- soft red, or red lipstick
mascara- dark brown
For an aqautic, cool look-
4. blush- light pink
lip gloss- frosty pink, or works if you have none, maybe some chapstick
eyeshadow- light blue on lid, darker in crease, light below brow, this look shines best if you have really light shade of blue below eye
mascara- dark brown
Tips-
1. Lighter shades will look the best on you, because of your hair color and other features
2. Try not to mix really dark colors and light or they will make face look extremely unnatural
3. Experiment! That's what i do a couple days before I have to go somewhere with makeup, so I know just the right way for the occasionn
4. Research! If you google on h ow to wear makeup, or makeup images, you will find more fun styles! Go on to girlgogames.com, or agame.com, and play some games about makeup. This is great when you want to experiment quickly, and dont want to wash your face off, or get it messy. The games are fun, and provide info!
5. Your face wont look good with dark colors, since your face is all light.
6. Some colors that will look great on you are ice blue, frosty pink, light green, and bronze.
7. Try not to wear black eye liner. If you do, make it super thin!
8. I am sure your face looks pretty just the way it is! Just applying some chapstick or lipbalm with some moisturizer on your face would look just fine!Makeup Help! Please Help!?
Just start with some foundation or tinted moisturizer, a pink blush, and some peach or pink colored lip gloss. For eyes you can try browns, tans, pinks, or anything you want to try. Experiment and have fun! Also, check out youtube for makeup gurus-they have tutorials about different makeup looks. I like allthatglitters21, julieg713, and emilynoel83. The first one is blonde with blue eyes. Good luck!
Start of with a light shimmery gold eye shadow. Apply all over eyelid and also line the bottom of your eyes with the gold shadow.
I would line a thin line of black eyeliner lining the top of my eye.
Starting form the inner part of your eye out, but make sure as you make your way out make it just a little bit thicker towards the end so that your eyes will appear wide, not small.
Use an eyelash curler and apply black mascara on your top and bottom eye lashes.
Then line your bottom part of your eye with a brown liner.
For your face, use a tinted moisturizer and apply a bronzer on the bottom of your cheek bones.
Try either peachy blush or pink.
Go with a nude lip
Hope this helped (:
Go for a more natural look, since you have very fair skin and your blonde, it would go perfect.
For mascara get a brown color.
And for eyeliner you can do the same.
Some eyeshadows come in special little packets that have what eye color theyre meant to be for.
Yu could probably try that, they sell them at any Walmart or Walgreens.
brown mascara and a little bit of peach blush.

So, I can't wear a lot of makeup, I'm in a very very strict household, but can any of u think of a way to wear makeup that doesn't really show, but makes an effect, if u know what i mean? THanks. :)Makeup help? Thanks!?
A natural gloss (somewhat close to your lip color *really does make a difference*) apply maybe (you don't really have too) a thin line of brown eyeliner (on the top eyelid super close to your lash line )*if your household is strict I wouldn't suggest black* and mascara definitely (close to your lash color or even a clear one *yes they do come in clear *) not applied a whole lot just a few strokes if you have it super strict just stay close to your colors its better to stick with a ';almost natural look'; just to enhance your beauty not make you look made up *even though that's what I sorta do but I try for an edgy look* good luck ^__^.Makeup help? Thanks!?
Here are some steps -
1 - Apply concealer under eyes if have dark circles
2 - blush ONLY on the bone not very much tho and just a light pink
3 - Eyeliner (grey or color of your outfit) JUST on the top lid and smudge if too much
4 - Eye shadow.. a light blue Or light grey color would look nice... apply until your lids reach the bone of your eyesocket but do not apply heavy
5 - Mascara ... This is one thing you DO NOT want to over apply.. since you are just starting makeup try to do all of your top lashes (use finger and press over eyelashes to take off any extra mascara so it wont drip in your eyes) Then apply macara at the Bottom corner of your Eye. This is what i did when i was 12!! Im now 14.. haha
Now for Product names.. For the eyeline and eye shadow use Avon or Maybalene and for mascara concealer and blush use loreal... HOPE I HELPED!!!! XOXO!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Use a brown eyeliner and tightline your eyes. Gently pull on your upper eyelid and line the ';upper-water line.)
Use clear mascara to make your lashes longer and thicker. (Cover Girl Professional Mascara.)
Use a pinky brown blush for a natural glow. (M.A.C. Blush in Blushbaby)
Good luck!
Conceaaler is great! Just use it for thos nasty spots and you will have clear skin in 5 minutes.
Also, just applying a LIGHT blush would look great.
And, applying mascara on to the bottom of your top lashes would give the fake eyeliner image.
Hope this helped.

I use neutrogena powder foundation. It looks very natural and hides any blemishes.
concealer is great! it will cover up anything!

Makeup help needed!?
I'm 23 and I've never worn makeup before. Horrors!
I have a good c omplexion, no pimples, zits or scars apart from the dark eye circles. I've always thought I was 'ok' to go makeupless till i went to a wedding and I looked so pale and sickly in photos. Now i'm willing to try!
What do I need to do to apply makeup?? I like a natural look, no blue eyeshadows or dark red lipsticks...
I am also asian, so I guess I have a yellow tone to my skin...
Should my makeup change as the seasons change? I don't understand how to buy foundation when one is tanned in summer and ghostly in winter....or is there a tintless foundation?
erm, is makeup ok with bushy eyebrows?Makeup help needed!?
I'm Asian so I've got the yellow undertones as well. First and foremost, get an SPF 15 or higher moisturizer to wear on your face immediately after you shower. I like Oil of Olay with SPF 30 ($13 at any drugstore). You won't break out and you won't look like a handbag in 10 years like many of your paler friends who love to tan will.
You don't sound like you want to wear a lot or spend a lot of time doing your face, so I recommend visiting a MAC counter for some nice neutral lip colors (MAC was originally created for women of color so they have great shades, from natural glosses to some reeeally pop color) and Laura Mercier for a tinted base, concealer (they're the best), blush, and bronzer or loose powder. Have them do a makeover for you -- it's free!-- so you see how to apply it, what it looks like on you, etc. Also, don't be afraid of color for evening events, especially if you start wearing makeup during the day. You want your night look to be a touch more dramatic. If you play up the eyes, go neutral on lips, and vice versa.
Once you know your shade range, start picking up some cheaper (but still good) cosmetics at the drug store --Revlon, Loreal, etc. They all make great products and you're not spending too much money.
Oh, and get your eyebrows waxed or threaded. It's cheap, safe, and will make you look alert and vibrant. Just dont go pencil thin.Makeup help needed!?
for a starter in makeup, you can start with 2-way cake, concealer, blusher, lipstick %26amp; mascara. The tone for 2-way cake is very important which will affect your skin tone. So its best that you go to some makeup counter and ask them which tone is suitable for you.
I am a professional makeup artist as well as asian and here is what I suggest:
Pale Complexion: Before deciding on a foundation, you should consider applying on Bronzing Powder with a powder brush lightly over your face and neck. This will instantly give you color and a sunkissed look without much effort and you will never look like you have makeup on, very natural! They are sold at a drugstores (which is much cheaper than department stores) and numerous brands carry them. Basically any brand will do, just look for the ones that have the word 'bronzing' in them. Also you won't have to worry about the makeup getting in your eyebrows.
Foundation: Another option is I find Loreal's True Match Foundations are great for people new to makeup. As long as you stay within the Warm Tones, just pick a shade several tones darker than your tone and lightly with a powder brush, sweep all over your face and neck and this should give you a naturally tanned version of yourself. They also have easy to use shade selector swatches. and just follow the directions and they will guide you to finding the best blush for your tone as well.
check out their website and find your color.
http://www.lorealparisusa.com/truematch/
Blush: For a natural look Pale Pinks, Baby Pinks seems to work best or whatever blush True Match directs you to should work fine.
Eyeshadow: For something natural and easy just take your blush and sweep accross your lids, this will look very pretty on asian eyes.
Lipstick: Stick with glossy light pinky browns, or light pinky colors.
P.S. Regardless if you look tanner, these suggested colors will look best for your skin tone. And always where at least a SPF of 15 or higher.
Go to the mall and get a makeover. They will pick out the right shades, and show you how to apply it. Good luck
Oh my goodness! You are 23 and have never worn make up?? Well its good that you have a good complexion. You will look good with makeup. I am asian myself and from experience (im only 17) and seeing my mom (39) I would suggest you get something with sunscreen in it. Asian skin is sensitive to sun and you could get sunspots. I would say GO GET YOUR bushy eyebrows WAXED, or pluck them (but do a good job!) cuz eyebrows wil change the way you look. just go to a drugstore, or a makeup store and ask them. I say you buy a foundation for winter and summer sepeartely, or actually just wear less in the summer. My foundation that i bought duringthe winter is too light for me now cuz i tan like mad in the summer. Start practicing, and remember, CURL your eyelashes and using MASCARA is the big thing. I do that even when i am not wearing make up!
Makeup is ok with bushy eyebrows
only if u put abit of makeup....
2 start
put black eyeliner in ur eyes no eyeshadows
and some mascara
and put lip gloss...or any light color of gloss...ex~light pink!
and if u have a great skin with no problem
trust me dont put anything on Ur face
foundation will be to strong for u!
so just buy powder.
First of all mascara would look great on you. I would use black mascara. A light face powder would also look good, make sure you match it to your skin. Eyeliner should be used only in light shades, nothing thick and dark, that wouldn't look good. If you don't have rosey cheeks you can get a blush but pick a light pink or honey color. I don't suggest foundation because it looks to cakey and fake. You want to keep your face looking young and fresh. If you use eyeshadow use a light pink or honey to match your blush, you could use the same product on each.
Since you like a natural look, I would stick with blush , concealer, mascara, and lipgloss and maybe a tinted moisturizer if you feel like you need the extra coverage. the only thing I would change with the season is the blush and if you like the lipgloss. Go a little deeper in the fall and winter and a little lighter in the spring and summer. If you go to the makeup counter they can help you with the right colors and show you how to apply it although if you stick with the basics I suggested, they are pretty much mistake proof as long as you apply the blush and concealer lightly. With the tinted moisturizer the shade will be alot more forgiving and will be flexible with the subtle changes in skin tone. Since you have such good skin I would skip foundation altogether. Maybe alittle powder if your skin is shiny. Also i do suggest you wax your brows. It really defines your whole face and you may find that you can get away with even less makeup. Good luck
Hey, if you really want something that you can wear all year round, maybe you should try BareMinerals. For the summer, it includes a bronzer that leaves your skin with a sunkist glowing skin. I love it, it doesn't make you look like you even have makeup on. It just looks like you have healthy, beautiful, glowing skin. And it actually improves your skin. Yeah, and it might be good to get your eyebrows waxed, no offense. Not trying to be mean or anything. I just think that if you clean your eyebrows up, your face would look clearer and fresh. Hope i helped.

If there is a mall near you, you can go to the make up counter and have them give you a make over.
Bushy brows are not very attractive on a man, less long on a woman. Have them done also at the hair dresser. This will make you look softer .
Or you could call a Mary Kay rep and have a party with some of your friends. They will come to your home and do the make overs there.
I would recommend a foundation, possibly just a powder light coverage foundation. Some light neutral colors, a cheek color or brozing powder, and a light neautral lipcolor. Check out this look.

Try the eye color combo:
Copper Beach
Woodland
Lucky Penny
Bronze
Cheek color:
Island Spice
Lip color combo:
Chocolate
Apricot Glaze
Cocoa Creme
Also, experiment and see if something else catches your eye.
Hope this helps.
First of all you are very blessed to have lived this long without feeling the need for make up. Most asians are naturally gorgeous, so I guess you can thank your heritage for your natural good looks.=) As for make up, use neutral lip gloss shades, black mascara, and some golden shadows. It should look pretty natural. And if you really want some glow and color to your face, purchase luminizer. Its changed my world! www.sephora.com is a great place to learn about make up and buy quality products.
mmk i know this probably didnt help but im tired. g'night.=)
Try mineral makeup. It gives natural coverage and it is made from natural ingredients.
puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand.
Sounds like you're taking pretty good care of your skin so you can get away with minimal makeup application! A beautiful canvas is essential. I'd start with a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen or a lightweight, breathable, oi-free foundation. Two recomendations: Mary Kay Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 and Mary Kay Medium-Coverage Foundation. Both of these provide a finished and flawless, yet barely there look.
Once you've selected your coverage level, select a neutral lip liner, a fleshy lip gloss, a natural-looking blush (think of a time you've been embarassed), and a lenghtening (not volumizing) mascara. This is a very natural everyday look where people can tell you've done something, but not neccessarily what exactly.
Feel free to email me if you'd like some more personalized recomendations as far as specific products, shades, application techniques, etc.
